On their way to do the original heist, Rio mentions/talks to Han about having a Mynock roast. We're first introduced to Mynocks on the Big Screen in ESB when Han, Luke, and Leia hide in an asteroid only to realize they were in the belly of an Exogorth. The Mynocks were chewing on the power cables of the Falcon.

Also cool to see the Viper Droids from ESB play a role

And of course I loved that they made the Kessel run worthy of being considered legendary.

In was in a dialogue between two (mud) Stormtroopers on Mimban if I’m not mistaken.

Dryden had Colo Claw fish sashimi. Fresh from Naboo? He also owned a Holocron, Sith by design. I wonder why his boss on Dathomir didn’t claimed it for his own.

Lando talked about his former involvement in the administration (owning?) of the Oseon star-system. It’s from this novel published in 1983:

I also liked that Val proposed they should have hired Bossk.

I remember the outcry after Disney took over, about the EU becoming non-canon. Even then, TPTB stated that certain events or characters even, could still make their way back into the new canon. Understandably, many people didn't focus on that remark.

Now, some six years later, with the new films and all the other media, it's apparent that statement was very much true. I think this film takes the cake with references, like many of you already have stated in this thread. Awesome.

What striked me, was the number of Episode 1 easter eggs. Colo claw fish, Weasel, that other cameo and many more. Trying to see the film again ASAP, which would be worth it for this alone.

    Some others:

    - Tag and Bink, I believe, are the two troopers commenting on the moment where Han and Chewie meet. Ron Howard has shown a picture of them in officer outfits, so maybe they are in multiple scenes.
    - Besides the Kessel Run, it references The Maw, something from the old books.
    - Not an actual easter egg, but there's talk about starship fuel, in the form of coaxium. This holds credence to TLJ, where the ships run out of fuel. (This was an early criticism of many TLJ detractors, who stated those ships didn't need fuel, even though most if not all films show refueling being done to ships).
    - This one I'm not sure of, but many droids in the background made me think of the Droids cartoon, including the Great Heep. Will have to check that one out some more.
    - Glee Anselm is a planet full of Kit Fisto's. (Oh no, the Jedi Kit Fisto is using his Force Push again) (Sorry for that one).
    - The Cloud Riders are using Swoops! Not an easter egg, but I love SotE is getting some love.

Alright I convinced myself. Gonna watch the film again this afternoon !

Han shot first (Becket) if you can count that as an easter egg.

I wonder if Teres Kasi was passed down from Xendor and Arden Lyn all the way to Sidious and Maul.

i really appreciated that the easter-eggy fan service of this film was kept to a really low roar.
i didn't spend my time looking, but caught a few fun things here and there (and will look for more on repeat viewings).
also, aside from the one reveal at the end, it'll all fly over general audience members' heads smoothly.

for me Rogue One was really distracting with its fan service and it's the thing i like least about that movies (ironic, being a fan). XD

Just got home from watching it a second time and noticed another one; Rio does four-armed cooking whilst tasting it - just like in the Holiday Special!

There's a thing about L3 being uploaded into Falcon that is slightly bothering me. We don't know how much of her is actually inside Falcon's systems but there is a very high chance that all of her conscience becomes part of the Falcon. Against her will. She, the only droid character that seems genuinely human loses her humanity to become a glorified map. On a ship owned by a guy she doesn't even know that well. Not only that, as part of Falcon's systems she loses all her agency. She can't go anywhere without a pilot. She becomes a slave. She, the only droid that believed in droid liberation gets essentially punished for her beliefs... Am I reading too much into it? I hope I am because that is a terrifying prospect.

L3 died. they saved her parts like an organ donor.

maybe the Falcon has quirks has a result, but the Falcon is the Falcon and L3 is L3.
just the same as if you gave someone a heart transplant.

You are reading too much into it. A part of L3 (navigational system) lives through Falcon, but what she was as a whole person is dead. Falcon may have inherited some of her traits (even after mind wipe, C-3PO has 'memories', ghost images in his mind), but we know Falcon that has at least two other AIs.

One small Easter egg I had forgotten after my first viewing: the stormtroopers at the gate at Corellia say "Move along, move along," just the same way as they do on Tatooine. (Must be a standardized training. :p)

Add me to this list as well. There are a lot of callbacks to lines from previous films, like Han saying "Fair and square" when he wins the Falcon nd at least ten other examples.
