Hi guys! So, I’ve never been to Celebration before, but my friends and I are planning on getting tickets for this year. I had a few questions that I wanted to ask for people who have gone before so I know what to expect for the whole process.
    1. How far in advance do they announce who’s going to be there?
    2. Is there a list compiled somewhere with all the people who have signed autographs at Celebration in the past? (Or at least, in recent years?)
    3. How do autographs/photo ops work? You have to pay ahead of time and pray they don’t sell out, correct?
    4. How difficult is it to get tickets when they first go on sale?
    5. Is there anything else I need to know as far as stuff to do in between purchasing the tickets and going to the convention?
    Thanks so much!

This is my first celebration as well. Hopefully you were able to snag tickets before the 5 day and the Saturday tickets sold out. I know there are a bunch of Facebook groups that have a lot of good info for first time goers. I'll try to answer a few of your questions from what I've gathered.

    1. It seems like they usually announce guests a few months before celebration but a lot of availability has to do with filming schedules. It seems like you'll be able to prepay for autographs if that is your thing. Some of the guests are obviously more popular than others (Mark Hamill draws a long line) so it seems that if you really want to get an autograph/photo op with some of the more popular guests or guests who don't spend a lot of time on conventions than it would probably be smart to buy ahead of time. I'd imagine you'd also be able to pay for autographs at celebration as well, but they might put a cap on guests to accommodate lines.

    2. if you just do a quick Google search for star wars celebration autographs there are a few links that have the prices of guests for autographs, photo ops, and combo auto and photo listed from celebration 2017.

    3. I touched on this a little in my first response, but hopefully somebody can elaborate more on it. Like I said you will be able to pay ahead of time for guests, I'm just not sure on how many are usually available before they sell out. I know autographs were oversold last year and people spent a lot of time waiting in line for autographs and some were asked to come back on different days than they had purchased too because of the wait times.

    4. Hopefully you were able to snag your tickets. They went way faster this year than what I've heard in the past.

    5. As I said this is my first celebration as well so joining the Facebook groups has been a huge help for me. I guess the big thing to do now until celebration is to lock down your accommodations and how you're going to get to celebration. Personally I'm going to be spending the time between saving as much as I can and finishing up a few costumes to wear while I'm there.

Hope this helped and hopefully other people who have been before can elaborate on some of the stuff I'm not familiar with.
