    Hey guys!
So, I recently got a new job as the Sales Manager's assistant for an IT Services company.

I rely completely on this person for work, he delegates everything he needs me to do so if he doesn't have anything for me, I must wait for him to assign me further assignments. I've been fairly busy since my I started, but since last Tuesday, I got nothing. I normally wouldn't mind being paid doing nothing, it's just that the days are so long having nothing to do...

I'm allowed to wear headphones, but I cannot play games or watch movies/youtube. The reason being the owner often walks with partners/customers throughout the office and it would look really bad for the company if people are seen playing games or watching videos during work hours. I was basically told I can do anything I want as long as it looks like I'm working. I've been listening to some podcasts, been browsing the forum here and some other but I'm also looking for other alternatives if possible.

Do you guys have any idea/suggestions on what I can do the occupy my mind based on my situation?

    Thanks a bunch!

MP3's are a great way to make use of idle time or if you require only half a brain for a task. In 2015 we can enjoy the best media the planet has to offer through the internet. I enjoy listening to interesting interviews/lectures/debates, radio shows and Podcasts, and I've even done language learning courses all while being paid!

Audiobooks are my favorite, especially the free famous/infamous older books out of copyright etc - I've been amazed how conducive listening to audio at work is for digesting information/culture you wouldn't ordinarily sit down to read otherwise.
