I remember when I got the CD of TPM sountrack, before watching the movie, and found those spoilerish track names about Qui-Gon's fate.
I don't care a good spoiler or two about general plot, but the death of a major character is too much.
Since the new soundtrack is a mandatory purchase to me, I wonder if it will be out before the movie premiere. And if so, will it have spoilerish track names? And, would you like it to have them?
I'm curious about what the names will be. Besides a couple of tracks with the usual "Kira's theme", "Grave Robber's Theme", I want them to be a little more descriptive than that, but still somewhat vague, without revealing too much.
I'm a little obsessed, yesterday I dreamt there was one of them entitled "Obi-Wan's legacy". What could it mean?

I will own the soundtrack the first day it is available, along with the novel, and some of the action figures, which will all be spoilers when word of their release comes available.

I’m with you OP. The Qui-Gon thing pissed me off back in the day. Keep the track titles related to he content of the scene, but vague enough to not spoil major plot twists. I will buy the soundtrack and listen to it about a hundred times in the weeks ahead of the release. It’s a bit of a tradition for me and I think it adds to the appreciation of the film the first time you see it if you already have an attachment to the music. But I don’t want character deaths ruined in the process.

I also had a dream about soundtrack titles. All I can remember is a track entitled, "Chained by Choice." I had that dream after reading about Luke's possible captivity in the movie on these boards. Embarrassing to admit a movie can get into my dreams at my age.... :)

There was a conversation before about dreaming about the movie.

In that, I remember this awful dream where I actually watched the movie and it ended with Boba Fett pinning Han Solo to the ground and choking him to death before he took the helmet off...it went "one last thing, Solo...(helmet comes off) I'm a woman. It was Christie under the mask and then immediatly to the ending credits. I felt like Luke in ESB...NOO! THATS IMPOSSIBLE!

Why do I mention this? Because the music in that dream was insanely good. I mean...Duel of the Fates meets Imperial March meets Binary Sunset good.

Really the only redeeming quality of that whole dream (there was an early scene where Leia was confined to a wheel chair due to some disease she was about to die of....apparently my subconscious explaining why there were no rumors about her character...yeah,..that dream)
