    Cool stuff! It was great when pepsico did Star Wars advertising. My Dad got me an R2D2 cardboard display from a store. Now all I see is fruit and bottled water, stuff like that. I know they're trying to promote good health, but it's not the same.

    had some of these great toys as a kid (and still have them!). the Cantina was a Sear exclusive i think. my brother got that for his birthday and two weeks later i got the dewback for mine. later we got the cool star destroyer from ESB with the hyperbaric chamber.

    Hasbro doesn't make enough figures or cool peripherals. and even what they do make is too dang hard to find.
    i remember spending an hour at Kmart sorting through hundreds of figures to choose one when we were allowed.
    now you go to the store and you're lucky if they have half a dozen Zuvios. hahahaha

    @FN-3263827 - when you look back at it, that Kenner Star Destroyer was taking the p!$$ really... it looked nothing like the on screen ship (I appreciate that was never really possible, but damn it they still tried!). The only reason any of us liked it was because of Vader's meditation chamber :D

    I loved the fact that the packaging played up the ability to torture useless Imperial officers and also sidelines both 'sad bounty hunter' Dengar and the identity confused 4-LOM and Zuckass...

    ...plus there was no way ANY kid was successfully re-enacting the Falcon's cheeky stowaway tactics with their playsets!

    hahahaha ~ and yet it was so awesome. all of it.

    the platform had a lever and you could swing Darth Vader around and smack people with his silly little lightsaber that grew out of his arm.
    man, that was the height of interactive! hahaha

    and yes, i still call 4-LOM Zuckass to this day. : D

    Star Wars footwear... cool or desperate?

    I love the fact that having covered 5 of the main characters, the manufacturer had a (presumably brown) Tusken variant on offer rather than going the obvious route of a Stormtrooper, Solo, Chewie or Kenobi...

    ...and in a later diversification into sneakers, the most obvious character tie-in for a primarily red shoe were the Droids of course :rolleyes: :D
