    Is it just me, or is Disney not really advertising Solo: A Star Wars Story? Are they just focused on Avengers:IW at this moment in time, and will ramp up the marketing for Solo once Avengers opens?

    It seems that way to me also...and not just with Solo. When I went to Celebration in Anaheim in 2015, we got a teaser trailer, and then a full trailer a bit later, BUT the advertising went "official" with that teaser..in JULY...6 months before the movie was released.

    Not it seems (I noticed it with R1 and TLJ also) that Disney/LFL are almost waiting until the last minute to advertise...it's weird, because "if it were me", I'd be advertising the hell out of these movies in a bid to build as much hype as possible to boost the bottom line as much as possible.

    Seeing as how we're just barely 60 days away from Solo, and there's been nothing but a teaser, it leaves me questioning their tactics...almost like they're doing their best to keep it a secret.

    I don't get it...

    Additionally, Disney seems to be making their promotional campaigns slightly less revealing. Look at TLJ and Infinity War. Both films are/were sure to be box office hits and both of them got only two trailers. Why? Because why would they release more of them? I've noticed that the less Disney is sure about a movie's performance in the box office, the more are they going to market it. Also, in case of Solo, they have Infinity War coming, so they want to focus their marketing machine on one film at a time and once A:IW comes out, I'm sure we'll get a lot more from Solo coverage, just like with A:IW, which didn't get a lot of publicity until A Wrinkle in Time came out.

    Just discovered this thread, so apologies for bringing stuff way back from page 1 but...
    I totally own this. It was gifted to me one Christmas after we had just bought our first house. It also came with a circular Death Star cutting board. The knife design is actually really sleek, it's pretty awesome kitchen ware in my opinion. I'll update with a picture later when I get home!
