Star Wars Battlefront 2

I found an Xbox version at a pawn shop for about 20 bucks last year. Pretty happy with that find.

 

Looking forward very much to Battlefront 2 release later this year. Supposed to be much much bigger and deeper than Battlefront. Also the fact that it will have content from Episode 7 and 8 makes it very appealing.
Would be cool and fun if they could somehow put a prequel option in there so we could play as Kenobi, Maul, Ashoka, Mace, even Anikann.

 

I can't wait to play BF2, but I had an idea for a side game in with it like Gears of War where you start out on a level as waves of Stormtroopers come at you and each level you beat then it gets harder and harder with more enemies. Would be fun.

 

I doubt they'd do that as they're connecting everything unless Ashoka is alive still at this point in the timeline

They have that in BF1, I believe its called survival. Its $40 bucks now real cheap and you get everything.

real talk if Dice ignore the prequel era this time and doesnt add stuff from Episode 7 I wont buy this fu.cking game.
Well I didnt bought BF1 either until it dropped to like 15 bucks, but this time ?? No Just no.

Its bad enough that these devils (EA ) have the SW license with their pathetic DLC policy.

 

Expecting THREE eras is a little outlandish, no? Especially with a game that has a two year turn around time, that's asking a little much. Also, I really think a lot of people look at the original Battlefront games through rose tinted glasses. They were really great games, but Battlefront has actually solved a lot of problems that the original had such as zero customizable builds, camping in front of vehicles, camera position etc etc. The DLC is a separate issues in that they released the original game, saw the backlash, and immediately released a free DLC to expand the value of the game. Sure it's online only, which sucks (I really hate games based on dying over and over and over) but expecting a modern game to come out without any DLC is a little bit outlandish don't ya think?

 

Yeah, it would be cool to have all three eras- but I think I'd take the ST first (since we have so few games with it now) and the OT second (my favorite era). If we're able to fit the PT in there too, the more the merrier- but PT Star Wars has such a different feel than the rest of the series for me, that it almost seems like incorporating it could be kind of an issue.
