SPECULATION Star Wars: Battlefront II General Discussion

Unfortunately I don't own a console to play this on, but maybe if it's cheap on PC I'll get it. Sounds fun and I've played the first Battlefront once. I wasn't very good at it, but man, it was addicting!

I'm still trying to figure out if I'll buy the game or not... I've bought battlefront because it's Star Wars, and to be honest it was my first fps online game ever. I really dig the game, and Battlefront II probably will be even better. This being said, what's ruining the game experience, for me at least, is the amount of cheating going on in the game. Sometimes it's utterly impossible to play because of hackers, and the game looses all it's fun. Besides EA doesn't do a damn thing about it, you report a player today, and you see him playing for weeks, nothing happens to him, and I'm talking about cheaters with multiple denounces. Probably I'll end up buying the game... but because of this, I still have to convince myself that it's worth it.

I am more worried about multiplayer not the campaign the campaign looks awesome you get to see how the empire pick up the pieces after the fall of there great super weapon but multiplayer EAs battlefront I hated only 11 guns in the game no campaign battlefront 2 made in 2005 had space battles while EAs battlefront doesn't have anything remotely close to that. I am very afraid for the new battlefronts multiplayer since we didn't get what we asked for like space battles and more weapons and also more populated game modes that are good.

The trailer and gameplay looks amazing. Weird that you can play as someone like Rey but with Clones against Maul and Boba with droids, maybe its a certain mode. From what I can tell Sam Whitwer is voicing Maul, Daisy Ridley is Rey, and the Clones are Dee Bradley Baker (which is weird because I'm sure i can hear Temuera Morrison as Boba in the gameplay). I also believe there is a shot of Tarfful in the trailer, if he is a playable hero than I think we can expect many payable heroes other than the obvious main ones.

 

Boy, that Rey vs Kylo Ren scene was dope. The whole trailer is pretty awesome. The graphics are insane.

 

I want! I want! That looks really good, hopefully the final product is as good as it looks. Also was that Dee Bradley Baker voicing the clones?!?

 

I think it was which is weird because Boba sounded a lot like Temuera Morrison. I wonder why they would get the movie voice for Boba but not use him for the clones.

 

Ew, Star Wars HQ "confirmed" that? They are nothing but clickbait YouTubers who make up crap all the time.

Love it. All that Clone War goodness .

It would help differentiate between the two, make Boba Fett feel like a unique clone.

A video was leaked yesterday with the B1 and B2 Battle Droid voices. In it, there was like 4-5 B1 voices, ranging from TPM to the Clone Wars versions. Perhaps the Clonetroopers have the same treatment.

 

I feel like that is a bit odd since they are technically the "same" person. But whatever, I'm just happy we are getting clines and other PT characters.

Don't get me wrong, I really liked the first DICE's Battlefront, which was a lot of fun anyway, but this is exactly how I imagined the next-gen 2005 Battlefront sequel.

 

Yes, this shot from the trailer has been confirmed to be Kashyyyk as a playable planet from the official Battlefront website. Plus, Death Troopers look to make an epic return in Battlefront 2 from that one shot of them on Yavin 4. Hopefully this means more Rogue One content will be featured in the game!

And yes, Dee Bradley Baker is the voice of the clones which I just love .
Only thing is, I sure hope there are more clone legions than the one they showed us in the Assault on Theed gameplay and the one showed here. Needless to say, I never been more hyped for a game!

 

They are but it depends on how much the dialogue you can hear in game being able to differentiate different characters quickly is vital in multiplayer vs modes.

 

Kotaku has uploaded a description of one of the early campaign missions.

 

At 1:35 we see a red hooded man that reveals his face and looks like palpatine. I was under the impression that the storymode for this was after Return of the Jedi?
Is it not palpatine? If not, who is it?
