Star Wars Celebration Adds Giancarlo Esposito, Joonas Suotamo, Daniel Logan, and More!

Final preparations for Star Wars Celebration 2022 are underway, and the event keeps filling its roster of famous faces from a galaxy far, far away. Last week, we learned that Anthony Daniels, Ian McDiarmid, and Ashley Eckstein were all game for Celebration '22. Now, the list of special guests is adding five big names from film and TV productions, as well as recognizable faces from other parts of the Star Wars galaxy!



StarWars.com dropped the news this Wednesday, confirming that Giancarlo Esposito (Moff Gideon), Joonas Suotamo (Chewbacca), Daniel Logan (young Boba Fett), Omid Abtahi (Dr. Pershing), and Carey Jones (Krrsantan) are all attending this next Celebration. It may be hard to believe, but this is the first-ever Star Wars Celebration for both Esposito and Abtahi due to The Mandalorian kicking off right before the COVID-19 pandemic started.



Fans of Star Wars: The High Republic will be able to meet some of their favorite authors, as some of the biggest writers behind the first wave of stories of the publishing initiative — Claudia Gray, Justina Ireland, Daniel José Older, Cavan Scott, and Charles Soule — will be attending as well.







Finally, Margo Apostolos (Ewok Tokkat, Return of the Jedi), Jett Lucas (Zett Jukassa, Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith), Orli Shoshan (Shaak Ti, Star Wars prequels), Kevin Thompson (Ewok Chubbray, Return of the Jedi), and Tim Rose (Admiral Ackbar puppeteer) are also confirmed to appear. That's a lot of names from all corners and eras of the galaxy!
