I heard they had a seasons worth of episodes done and it was gonna be released in the fall of the year of "D-day." After that all I heard was that Disney canceled it. I really hope not tho.

It was hyped at Star Wars Celebration in 2010, Orlando Florida.
Seth Green & his Robot Chicken co-horts ran a extended trailer then did a brief Q&A.
I saw a few Detours clips on Youtube.com . It's okay in a Family Guy kinda way.

Green's RC Star Wars bits/series were funny. He should keep doing those.

Detours wouldn't be a good companion to the new, serious SW films coming up. The last thing Disney would want is a comedy deconstructing the very character icons they are banking on making billions from as dramatic, exciting brands.

Yeah but 2/3rds of the people who are going to go see the new films are people who have already been introduced to those characters.
As a companion the adult humor of Detours makes as much sense as the child content of Rebals....and lets not forget that if Disney wants Star Wars to succeed, then they can't forget the adult demographic.
It would just add a few more millions to the billions of $ that they will make.

I could see this being a Netflix only series.
