the falcon lands gracefully as always, near the wreckage of what appears to be a shrine

the steep columns like those of a roman coliseum rise high into the dense air. what apearas to be thr roof of this once great shrine likes in ruins beneath the ship.
the ramp lowers to reveal the crew departing.

Johny- What is this place?
Luke-thats what we're here to find out...dont allow yourself to be distracted, the dark side of the force is strong here. I can feel it.
Lexi-I feel it too.
Leia-understand that things here may not be as they appear. the dark side has a way of tricking even the most strong willed.
Han-And here i thought i could retire soon...
Chewy- grrrrrrrr aaaaaahah rrrrrrah aaa (translation: hahahahaha)

Chewy- aaaaaaaaahahahahhhhhhhhhh aaaagggggraha (translation: over 30 years i work with this guy and he still has no idea what im saying)
Han-Chewy thinks we should head up to that ridge to gather our bearings. Johny, Chewy, you guys are with me. I think its time you two spent some time apart.

Doing great on these re-writes. Arndt did pretty good laying out some basics from what Ole George put down in his treatment, but Kasdan thinks we can really get the flow of the movie back if we stick to the Hollywood setting of the late 70's/early 80's when the OT was written. He's introduced me to something he calls "Spice." I'm pretty sure it's a mix of coke and bath-salts, but so far the ideas are FLYING. Hell, I could do the Kessel run in 10 Parsecs, whatever the hell that is. HA!

Second act is going to be crazy. Right now, we're pretty much trying to use every cinema cliche from the past 30 years--sort of a "modern Joseph Cambell thing," but for the kids.

Damn... I haven't seen mine in, like, weeks.

Does Disney own any animals? What type? Do you think we could get Christopher Walken to be a Sith Lord and dress a Lion up as a Sith Hound? I heard he was a lion tamer,back in the day. I was thinking we could put them all in costumes--the animals, that is. The people too. They can't be naked if we're going for the PG thing, right? So, for animals... maybe, like, a Kangaroo with 4 arms like General Grevious, but with force powers. You've heard that we're doing a lot of Practical fx, right KK?

I don't know if I'm paranoid, or just worried about the script leaking, but there's a lot of people dropping their contacts near the shredder, and we seem to have twice-daily garbage service. That's going to kill the budget. Hopefully they're not spies--we had some really weird ideas back when we started, like making Boba Fett the Dread Pirate Roberts of the Star Wars universe. I know there's one guy in the office, every time we talk about the plot, he's like, "Stop! It's a spoiler, bro!!! Right, babe?"

Anyways, gotta go. Simon Pegg just showed up. Hopefully I don't get confused and start writing about Sith Artifcts on Vulcan or some crap. Lol. That'd be funny. I BLEW THAT blast UP!

Luke convinces Han to stay near the falcon with Chewie and The still slightly intoxicated Johnnie in case Luke's group needs cover from above.
Luke leads Lexi and Howler up the small ridge to gain a vantage point. Upon reaching the summit, Luke surveys Moroband's diverse yet harsh landscape. Suddenly an empirial shuttle roars by overhead and lands near the Falcon.
Luke- "Hostile Shuttle inbound!..(static)... DO YOU READ HAN?!?!"

(Chewie can be heard roaring in the background amid blaster fire)

The Falcon suddenly lurches into the sky, pelted by ineffective laser fire. Johnnie's voice comes over the comm link.
"Master Luke, we'll have to come back for you. There was a firefight and Solo is...... Well Chewie thinks it's best we get him to Republic controlled space ASAP..."

 

"Ive got a bad feeling about this".Luke said.

 

*aboard the falcon*
A still slightly intoxicated johnny sits down in the copilots seat in the cockpit "I'm sure han will be fine" johnny says to chewie, to which chewie responds "aagh arrrgh grrrr" (he got a lightsaber in the back you raving lunatic)

*back on land*
"I sense a great danger master" said Lexi to Luke, to which he responds .......
