Why do you think Star Wars VIII was pushed back to december 15, 2017?

  1. To push it further away from Rogue one.

  2. To allow more time to make a better movie.

    They probably had a first draft done by around August or September of 2015 to allow for timely updates and proper set builds and VGX supervisors and such .
