Has anyone else read this book? I procured this while in Waterstones and was immediately interested. It kind of reminded me of the Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy in terms of the scope of the information that it was intended to convey and the concise way it delivered it.

I got the impression that it was written for children but I found it immensely enjoyable.

It references material from most of the current installations in the saga (with the exception of The Rise of Skywalker). The book shows events, locations, species and local customs in the same format as travel guide in a way that is in plain English and in a format that will appeal to both children and adults alike. From an adult perspective, it was interesting to observe details in the films that I might otherwise have missed and the in-world reason for certain aesthetic choices such as the clothes of the revellers on Canto Bight.
