When The Rise of Skywalker is released on disc, I’m going to do a marathon of the entire canon in chronological order, including the animated series.

I was looking forward to 2019 and hosting a mega marathon for Episode IX at the time TFA came out, unfortunately none of my friends care about Star Wars anymore after the decisions Disney has made.

It's unfortunate the state of Star Wars has reached such a low level of excitement.

If you care to try to rekindle an interest in Star Wars with them I would suggest using a combo of the Mandalorian episodes (which I would grant could still go sour) and an appeal to a nostalgia as well as closure and it might bring them back in time to host a group marathon. Or maybe just do a solo marathon.

Hello everyone, this is Rodney-2187 reporting live from Disney Springs as we get set to kick off this Skywalker marathon. Tensions are palpable. Exactly what will happen? Nobody knows for sure, but one thing is certain, the air is thick with Star Wars goodness.

First, I had to make a quick stop to check out the latest merchandise.

The whole place is set nicely for Star Wars.

Got a nice blanket with all the movie titles, an opening night pin, and a lanyard for easy coming and going.

One movie down. Lots of cheers for The Phantom Menace, especially Darth Maul.

It is freezing in that theater! If a tauntaun was anywhere around I’d slice it open and crawl inside!

    That’s all for now.

Just finished AotC. Got a longer break this time so everyone can go get some food.

Here’s the collectible popcorn tins they have at AMC:

We’re back live where everyone has made it through the night. Return of the Jedi is about to start. Anticipation is building as we get closer to The Rise of Skywalker.

They just put out a $50 R2-D2 that holds a large popcorn in the canister and his head holds a large soda.

Hard to believe it's been a week now. It all hit like a whirlwind. I had a lot going on with the holidays but things are slowing down now and I've had a little time to reflect on everything. Buying a ticket to this marathon was one of the best decisions. If you've ever thought about going to any sort of event or convention, but just aren't sure, I'm telling you to just go for it. Of all the things in my life, I regret things I didn't do most of all.

There's so much going on in the word right now. Everyone seems divide on all subjects. People are killing each other. If you get the chance to just take some time off and be silly with like minded people, do it. The world would be a better place if we were all silly more often and enjoying things.

I loved all the pomp and circumstance around everything. I met a lot of people and everyone was so nice. We all had a great time and I'm sure it's an experience I will remember for many years.

Thanks everyone here for indulging my crazy posts. The Force will be with you, always.
