Yeah, that was a pretty epic part.

I thought Rebels had some similar moments as well. Like when Ezra was stranded on that walkway and the Ghost rose up with Kanan atop of it lightsaber ready. I think it will only get stronger as we move along.

The B'omarr monk reference was cool in TCW after that cliff climb scene.

Was hoping the Inquisitor would of had more screen time. But you can only put so much in a hour show.

I was actually surprised to find that Rebels already got green lit for a 2nd season. I thought it would have been a forgone conclusion that it was slated for multiple seasons. But glad to see we'll have at least a couple seasons.

It definitely could've been longer for my taste, but they left me wanting more.

I just found out that Disney updated the Holonet News Tumblr, which features little tidbits relating to forthcoming episodes. Mas Amedda is in one of the videos.

I like how the text is in Aurebesh, but when you copy and paste it, it shows up as English text. Hooray for translation conventions through font trickery!

When my uncle, THE EMPEROR, hears about this, he's going to be very grumpy. Just you wait.

Although I voted "Chopper" on the poll (Cause I though he deserved a little love, he's like an angry lazy little robot - that's funny! Almost as funny as a prissy British robot built for etiquette and protocol. And I like the little robot arms that come out of his head.) but I am also particularly excited to see Kanan in this and future episodes. Seeing a Jedi knight who doesn't use a lightsaber all that often is very refreshing, plus he has the potential to be like the first sexy Jedi knight! Ben was a crazy old wizard, Luke was like a generic movie protagonist, Anakin was a whiny creepy psychopath, and everybody else from the Prequels was flat and uninteresting - especially the Jedi. But Kanan is like a rebellious rogue, a little bit like Han Solo! :3

Now that I think about it, how old is Kanan supposed to be? He looks very young, he can't be more than 30 or so. Not to bring the Prequels into it, but is it possible that by the time of the destruction of the Jedi knights, could Kanan have still been in training?

Yeah, LOL, there were some pretty good lines. I like the scene where Agent Kallus was hanging from the bridge or whatever with the stormtrooper.

Caleb Dume aka Kanan Jarrus was a padawan to Depa Billaba, and witnessed her death during order 66.

Just got done watching and all I can say is that Rebels is simply amazing! The ending with the Obi Wan voice over gave me all kind of chills. The wait for Episode 7 just got a whole lot easier because of this show.

Yes, that was chilling and IMO the best moment of the episode -- the moment that solidified their mission as Rebels to oppose the evil empire.

Great show! I want more. :)

I liked the reference to Grand Moff Tarkin, setting up the next novel release next month.

Its especially interesting considering how they used what was clearly intended to be one of Tarkin's Star Destroyers from Star Wars (instead of the Emperor's Star Destroyers from The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi) as a ref for the Star Destroyer that appears (bridge face layout, tall linear scanner array, although its missing the triple engine exhaust baffles). The Rebels crew is clearly doing their best to maintain consistency with the Original Trilogy!
