    Hey guys. I noticed there is no podcast related thread for the cantina so thought I would take the liberty of creating one.

    So my favorite weekly podcast for Star Wars related news and speculation was Jedi Alliance on the Shmoes know channel. Last night I watched (I really prefer podcasts that have YouTube channels because I like video more than radio) the latest episode and it was announced that the lovely Maude Garrett announced she was leaving for a possibly once a month podcast called Jedi Council on the AMC movie talk channel.

    Which brings me to my question. What is everybody's favorite Star Wars podcast? How often do they broadcast and do they do video?

    I will still watch Jedi Alliance but Maude was one of the big reasons I loved the show so much.

    Also feel free to use this thread to discuss recent podcast episodes on this with everyone if you want.

    Yeah, big fan as well of the Jedi Alliance show, can't wait to see Jedi Council returning next week.

    Some of SW podcast I listen to:

    Far Far Away : presented by Kristian Harloff and Tiffany Smith of Schmoes Know. That's probably my favourite podcast related to SW.

    RebelForceRadio: of Jimmy Mac and Dave Collins, the audio commentaries of the movies with Sam Witwer are very cool, also recommend the Star Wars Oxygen episodes where they go in depth of John Williams score, very cool stuff. the downsize of this podcasts is they usually waste like 10/15 minutes per episode advertising their sponsors, I understand why they have to do it but it gets annoying after a while.

    SWU Podcast: even though they're very Lucas fanboys to my taste, I enjoy listening to their podcasts. They always bring cool guests.

    Full of Sith: This also has some cool discussions and cool guests. I particulary like Bobby Roberts Rumour Control episodes

    Now this is podcasting: From the Making Star Wars guys, I listen mostly for TFA rumours which when they talk about it is very cool to listen but boy do they waste so much time trying to pull jokes ad-nauseum and pretending to be funny when they aren't at all. It just takes me out so many times and have always to fast forward a couple of minutes till they start to speak again about something interesting. If they cut out 99% of their stupid jokes between them, this could been the best SW podcast out there, IMO.

    ForceCast: From the The Force.net website, I also like to listen to their discussions.

    I also sometime listen to other ones, but this are usually the ones I listen to weekly.

    Do any of those do videos along with their podcasts? I enjoy Jedi Alliance because you actually get to see what they're doing. I wonder who they will get opposite Ken Napzok. Interesting...

    I hadn't heard when Jedi Council was coming back. Do you know when it is?

    No most of them are just audio I'm afraid. The only videos that I know are the Jedi Alliance, Jedi Council and the Wolfpack Podcast

    Jedi Council I believe will return next week, not sure which day.

    Here's the first episode of Jedi Council filmed today.

    They talk about rogue one. Hopefully this podcast gets a little more cohesive.
