When Daisy raises with the lightsaber at the end. All I thought of was Hamill's line as Cocknocker in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. If you dont know what im referring to, Google it.

 

And remember Carrie Fisher playing a Nun too.

 

This TV Spot had so many new shots!

I wonder why they didn't show them in the International Trailer instead of a TV Spot.

 

I'm not going to lie; seeing Luke in the Falcon's cockpit actually caused me to choke up. Let me be clear. I am not a sucker for nostalgia. I do not criticize those who feel it because yeah; it can be a great feeling. It is why I didn't really feel that moment when Han and Chewie appeared in the TFA trailer, saying we are home.

But knowing that we haven't seen Luke in the falcon in a long time and seeing Mark Hamill, man; I choked up. I was like "This is happening.". Luke Skywalker is finally back in SWs after 40 years. As for the rest of the spot, I loved it. This movie looks gorgeous. Major props to Steve Yeldin, the cinematographer. He always makes Rian Johnson's films look fantastic.

And the production design and CGI blow TFA out of the water. Not that the movie looked bad. I just felt that Abrams went overboard with some of the practicals, looking too fake and the CGI on some of the ships not looking as good. TLJ is the complete opposite. And the final shot with Rey; man, that looked amazing.

 

For some reason they showed a load of new shots in the TFA teasers too back in 2015. I remember they showed Kylo Ren surprising Rey with his lightsaber on Maz’s planet as that was a huge spoiler. I guess they are going after the casual fan now.

 

That shot of Luke in the Falcon is awesome and Snoke in his throne room! I'm so hyped for this movie, December please hurry!

This is exactly what all of the remaining marketing is for. From here on out it is to get scenes of TLJ in front of the the casual fan.

 

is that anakin´s/Lukes former lightsaber or a new one, idk the end of the lightsaber looks different to me.

 

So. MSW might be right about one thing in the tv spot and the movie

Rey and Luke are training in the rain. Rey gets angry at Luke and uses the force to throw stone pillars around, knocking him to the ground. They have a conversation and she uses the force to pull her lightsaber from her bag and she ignites it to damage or injure Luke.

Wow, first time seeing Luke in the Falcon since TESB!

I do wonder why these trailers and now TV spots have been so light on new characters (Rose, Holdo, "DJ") and even Finn.

 

the movie is mainly gonna be about Rey, Luke and Kylo so inevitably the marketing will be around those three, but maybe they don't want to reveal too much about the new characters yet.

 

So the Falcon looses the Radar Dish AGAIN. if you look closely i gets shot of by a TIE... good catch SWNN team!
Whats the new shape of the new dish gonna be?

 

Watch it be triangle, we already got circular and square, so now it's triangle's turn!

 

I know I have no one to blame but myself, but I wish I could unsee that. I hate curiosity.

 

There doesn't appear to be a pilot in the Chewie/Porg shot.
