Guys, this is a non-issue. In situ changes happens all the time in every film production as the makers find new and better ways of achieving what they original intended. This is part of the creative prossess and not something to over think or freak out about. It can be location things, like: "we should change this to a morning scene because the sunrise is beautiful here". Or it could be an actor thing, like: "Damn, NAME is great at these kinds of scenes so let's have her do this instead of that extra, and give her original moment to someone else." Or any number of spur-of-the-moment creative decisions and problem solving. (Heck, many SW films to date have had central elements changed in editing, let alone during shoots!)

This "news" really is a non-issue that only become troublesome with over thinking. :)

You know that whatever the ending... there will be someone whining... "They should of done this instead."

What if they had a great ending planned and figured out an even better ending?

It’s no big deal. JJ was constantly changing/rewriting parts of TFA during shooting.

Hear! Hear! TLJ is my favorite SW ever! (And I've been around almost since the start... I still pooped my diapers when ANH came out, but got hooked on it [SW that is, not the other thing] pretty quickly thereafter!) :D

Empire is my favorite. I loved ROTJ because... speeder bikes and AT-STs up close. I'm a vehicle and gear guy. TFA was good, I didn't love most of the vehicles in it. I liked the Resistance bombers, although gravity based bombs in space seems a bit off. but they had them in Empire (meteor field). I liked how Rey's training was diametrically opposed to how Luke was trained, she WANTS to learn as much as possible and is a fast learner, Luke was frustrated and doubted everything including himself. I think the original droids should of been utilized much more in the ST, that's my biggest critique.

TLJ is simply my favorite Star Wars film of all time now. Just FYI the bombs were not gravity based. They were magnetically propelled out of the bomber and because they are in space they simply continued in the same direction they were already heading.

IMHO, it is hard to see how one can have an issue with bombs in space yet love stilt-tanks, hovercycles, and laser swords, etc. (That, and there are very strong arguments for why space bombs would work pretty well; as long as you have gravity* aboard to pull the bombs out of your ship, you can easily drop bombs on others in space).
*Artificial gravity as displayed in SW is another pretty bonkers concept, btw.

    Here I absolutely agree. I really miss the R2 & C3PO pair :-/

I guess what bugs me about the "gravity" bombs... is they LOOK too World War 2. I get how momentum works in space. ;)

Imposible. Even here in this forum there are 4 or 5 fans that has TLJ as a top 3 SW movies (me included). And most of the critics gave to the movie very good reviews, much better than the reviews for the others SW Disney movies, should I mention that the worst reviews made by critics were during the PT era?
