News.com.au caught up woth Alan Tudyk (Rogue One) to talk about why so many fans fell in love with a reprogrammed security droid named K2-SO.

Tudyk recalled that the previous Star Wars droids that came before his character set the precedent for his characters (K2) personality.

Tudyk also mentioned that he met Star Wars legend, the late Carrie Fisher in 2013 during an Australia convention.

    We really miss her....

CinemaCon 2107 attendees have seen a brief footage from Star Wars: The Last Jedi, as we told you a few days ago.

Attendees of CinemaCon 2017 were treated to some footage of Star Wars: The Last Jedi. The clip was apparently shorter than the sizzle reel that was seen a few weeks back. However, some fans described what sounds like Rey training to become a proper Jedi. Apparently that includes igniting a lightsaber, swinging it, and elevating some small rocks.

All signs point towards an Anakin Force Ghost in TLJ.

So, sad Carrie is gone, it always takes too long for the grief to hit me as it didn't really register before. I always feel like a psycho when someone dies. Maybe that's just kinda how I deal with death?

Don't get overexcited. There's a lot of people at the celebration because it's the 40th anniversary.

There will be Hayden but BDW and Ian Mc Darmid too. Even Wicket is there and I'm not sure we'll see Wicket in ep VIII.

Hopefully he is more colorful in his dialogue if that's true with some better direction

I've said many times, I'd be happy to see a Hayden Christensen cameo in Ep. VIII. If he does well, great! My estimation of him, and my sense that the prequels didn't give a fair indication of his talent, will be made stronger. If he does badly, well...leave him out of Ep. IX! ;)

I wouldn't mind seeing him in TLJ, either. But there's every indication (including direct statements) that he'll be at SWC solely for the 40th anniversary panel, and not for anything else. If it weren't for this being an anniversary year and he showed up, I'd take it as a sign that he might be involved with something. But since it is the 40th anniversary, I think it's safe to assume that it's the only reason he'll be there.

I do hope that Anakin's force ghost appears in the sequels, as well as Obi-Wan and Yoda. I will be reeeeeeeaaaaallly disappointed if all three of them don't appear at some point. Glad to see that HC's coming, even if it's not to confirm anything.

This is amazing news. It's gonna be exciting to see Hayden at SW Celebration. I'm dying to see him, Mark, Daisy and Adam on stage together - three generations of Skywalkers: The father, the son and the grandchildren. It would also be epic if Mark called Hayden "Dad"/"Father" at one point :D

What am I curious about though is if this really is just for the 40th anniversary of Star Wars or if this also means that Hayden will in fact be appearing as the Force ghost of Anakin Skywalker in The Last Jedi and possibly Episode IX as well. I think Hayden gets a little too much hate and based on his other movies like Jumper, Outcast and 90 Minutes in Heaven, I honestly don't think he's a bad actor. Plus, let's face it. George Lucas is the one to blame. With a director like Rian Johnson, Hayden could pull off a hell of an acting performance.

Also, Anakin would come back with a purpose: To help his family. Now that Carrie Fisher (R.I.P.) has passed away, Leia is sadly out of the picture, leaving Luke, Kylo Ren and hopefully Rey the last members of the Skywalker bloodline. Han Solo is dead, Leia will probably be written off as well and Luke and Rey probably aren't gonna try to bring Kylo back to the light. Anakin is his only hope. Plus, this could be the first time Kylo would talk with his real grandfather.

I personally believe that the grandfather Kylo's being talking to, Darth Vader, is fake. A scam set up by Snoke to manipulate Kylo's mind. Maybe this "call to the light" is Anakin trying to reach out to Kylo, but he keeps failing because Kylo is begging for Vader/Snoke to show him the power of the darkness. And if Leia does die, there's a chance Kylo could actually experience grief and this could give Anakin the chance to finally reach out to him and convince him to come back to the light side.

Anyway, it's just a theory of mine. I'm really happy Hayden's coming to Celebration. Let's hope he gets the applause that he deserves when he steps onto that stage. And hopefully, we may get to see him back in the role of Anakin in The Last Jedi and maybe Episode IX as well.
