    I made it a Sunday tradition to watch a Star Wars movie every week. It occurred to me that it would be really cool if everyone could watch at the same time, or at least on the same day.

    The movies will be watched in chronological order from episode 1 to Episode 7, with Rogue One between episodes 3 and 4. Each week the viewing time will be 12:00 PM EST. Time change can be discussed.

    I created this thread so we can discuss and comment on the movie as we're watching.

    Might have been interested ... if you were to start later. Starting this sunday, your "marathon" will end almost a month before TLJ's release : not exactly a great timing.

    However, if you sart on September 15th, it will bring you all the way to december 3rd : five mere days before TLJ's premiere.

    This week we're watching The Empire Strikes Back. Some of us have already started with Rogue One. It was just a random thing. I think the 12pm EST is a good time, concidering our European friends. But suggestions are welcomed.

    I still like the original wampa cave scene better than the special edition. The original was much more suspenseful. Its just like the old monster movies, when they don't actually show the creature. Sometimes that is more scary.

    My grandparents had one of those floor television sets. From back when tvs were furniture.

    Yeah it reminds me of the old universal monster movies. They just show the hand, or the feet walking. There's something more freightening about that.

    I think its kinda funny when vader turns around and says *general Veers* and he's standing inches in front of him. IDK its funny to me.

    I'm watchin' on my laptop an' postin' up here....so it's more listenin' than watchin'... I used'ta have the actual audio sound track to all the films as MP3's an' would listen to 'em at work when i wanted ta "watch" a film...
