    We all know that Chopper is in Rogue One and we here General Syndulla name in Rogue One also. In the new episode of Star Wars Forces of Destiny, it shows that Hera talking to Han on Endor after the final battles in ROTJ and Chopper is with her. Looks like Hera and Chopper indeed survives Rogue One and is with the Rebels during/after ROTJ. Maybe we'll get to see Hera and Chopper again in future shows and or post OT media?

    God that animation style is still terrible. It's hard to sit through.

    The way they're holding off on showing or mentioning anyone outside Hera or Chopper in any of these shorts or easter eggs elsewhere makes me wonder if it's not going to all end up the way it began, with Hera and Chopper alone. Maybe everyone but them dies.

    Huh, that's pretty interesting! I've always thought that the Hera thing in Rogue One could've just been vague enough to be easily retconned (as in, the droid just looked similar to Chopper and it was a different Syndulla paged) but this pretty firmly cements her as having survived. Awesome!

    Yeah, I don't doubt it. I've just seen people compare it to easily being retconned like how the YT-2400 freighter at Mos Eisley could be Outrider or could just look like it (which seems to be the case now, at least).

    I'm just glad this gives us something really concrete that anchors it to the current canon, even if it is a relatively obscure animated short.

    but seriously, i love these stories that sort of address what happens to all the "leftovers".
    just because Palpatine is dead doesn't mean the engine just stops running.
    there's still millions (billions?) of Imperials out there ~ and what's to be done with them?

    Totally agreed, I'm actually kinda mad that the Aftermath books already did this. I know Hammil and the gang wouldn't be able to reprise their roles as that young, but we could have live action Hera and the gang mopping up the Empire, or something. I think it's a story that could've worked really well as a spinoff, for sure.

    Hera is also shown in Lego Star Wars The Freemaker Adventures, which happens long after the end of the Rebels.

    That show isn't really canon, but it is still an authorized official Star Wars product, so they would have to be crazy to include Hera and then kill her off in Rebels.
