    Sad news, indeed, he will always be one of the unsung heroes of Star Wars who immensely contributed to the realistic feel of the galaxy far, far away.

    :(

    I would also wish for a book that covers his life achievement and the many films he contributed, too. IMHO, Star Wars Costumes was a start to acknowledge his Star Wars contributions but there's still more to it.

    Really sad news. Costumes are an essential part in shaping a universe and there's no doubt that with his costume we had a way to know more about the GFFA and its workings. And on a more superficial reading I have to say that they were really pretty ;).

    Rest in peace Mr. Mollo :(, you'll be remembered for your achievements in Star Wars and other movies.

    And I agree that we need some books about the OT costumes too, they're easily overlooked (justifiably) in favor of the special effects achievements.
