I think there's only a crime boss 'board room' scene or two left.

Another good episode to me! Really liking the Tuscan stuff but I need to see more of the black wookie because he looks badass!

But I'm saying he was showing mercy to the Rodian in the first five minutes of the show. Why would he? What's the motivation? It's too early for him to be a nice guy. No one has showed him mercy yet and he hasn't become anyone new yet. We're five minutes out of the Sarlaac pit.

If he was showing mercy after his ordeal with the Tuskens, sure. Makes sense. But if he's already a really selfless and sweet guy, what's the point of showing all his experiences?

There's a TV spot I watched on the Official Star Wars website where you see a white land-speeder swoop by( who could be driving that?), and a biker gang very curious about that, but I haven't watched all the TV spots so there could be more like the board room seen @Darth Derringer mentioned.

Boba isn't mean and completely ruthless but I wouldn't use the word "sweet". Not exactly all goodie too shoes

Soo... my theory that each episode this season will include "Lost"-style flashbacks seems to still be possible.

Definitely an improvement over last week.

And man, Nintendo had the Year of Luigi a few years ago, but apparently Star Wars is having the Decade of Tusken Raiders... and as utterly tired as I am of Tatooine, this stuff is pretty interesting.

Loved the train heist- "Western", as a genre, gets thrown around with Star Wars a lot lately, and we've had train heists in the past (like in Solo or even arguably the convoy in the Mando episode "The Believer") but this was such a classic take on one, it was pretty fun.
That was him, right? Like for sure, and not just a random black-furred wookiee?

Thought that was such a cool cameo!

Still not really sold on the series yet. This episode was better than the first one, however, I really dig the music in this episode.

EP. 2 - THE TRIBES OF TATOOINE

Wow! What an amazing rollercoaster of events this second episode was! I thoroughly enjoyed the entire 50 minutes of story-telling the episode provided. It was not only nostalgic but solidified my harsh opinion of if 61 year old, Temuera Morrison, was right for the role at his age. He completely blew me away minutes into Episode 2 and all my doubts faded away into obscurity. Really proud of the creators they have proven themselves once again, that storytelling in Star Wars can be new yet familiar.

    TUSKEN RAIDERS:

I always saw the Tusken Raider as a savage tribe, but they as well as any tribe have underlining laws they follow. This tribe in particular weren't as brutal as some of their other counterparts we've come to see in movies and comics. Seeing Boba Fett finally be accepted into the tribe and feel pain for dead tribal members really hit home. It for me humanizes him although he is a bounty hunter at trade. The train sabotage sequence was the most gut-wrenching moment of Episode 2, because knowing the creators we have no idea of how things would play out, but seeing more Tribe members be killed and injured made me humanize them as well.

This episode made me feel at ease with Boba's actor. Being that he's 61 Years Old, I'd imagine he'd be too old for this role.

Yeah this has me perplexed as well. I think its mostly just a problem with the different ways we were meant to perceive Boba over the years.

I've been wrestling with the idea of him having a spiritual re-birth after surviving the Sarlacc. But the problem is they didn't really play that up too much-- it was just as if a switch was flipped. However, seeing him in the Sarlacc in the armor, then escaping and being stripped of that armor and left for dead, drifting in and out of consciousness and being drug across and then imprisoned in the desert.... I don't mean this to sound blasphemous or anything, but to me that was his death, penance, and re-birth.

Or maybe I'd be better off not being too philosophical and just accept the character's narrative change without much afterthought. :p

I'm assuming he meets Fennec in the next flashback and he convinces the Tuskens to take her in too then it ends with him finding his ship with the following and last flashback being him leaving the Tuskens to follow Din Djarin.

I'm curious why he hasn't been back to the tribe yet unless there's a flashback of him going there in his armor after going back to Tattoine then saying good bye before heading to the place

The first 10 minutes of episode 2 started out to be much more promising than the whole first episode. The Hutts and the Wookie were cool. But then the flashback started... 40 minutes of boring and unnecessary flashback. I thought this show was about Boba becoming THE crime lord. After two episodes we've have seen 15 minutes of that... The rest was only flashbacks.

@RockyRoadHux said something quite fitting while watchin episode 2 today- this show should have used an original and new character instead of Boba Fett. I have to agree with this. Nothing really changes when we swap out Boba with anyone else. Boba was only uses as the USP.

I think this show really suffers from being PG-13. The rating doesn't fit the topic of this show. It kinda feels like they want to show more brutality, but they can't because of the target audience.

5/10 for episode 2, at least in my opinion. Maybe this show isn't for me.

Showed the Rodian mercy? They were both prisoners... Boba's not dumb, he may have felt he still needed the Rodian, Boba was never a cold blooded killer. It's also clearly not 5 minutes out of the Sarlacc Pit because the Jawas knocked him out and took his armor before the Tuscan Raiders found him not that it even makes a bit of difference. Even in The Mandalorian Season 2 he wasn't trying to be nice and help Mando, he wanted his armor, he didn't try to kill Mando for it. You are overthinking this too much. The Book of Boba Fett may not be for you. May the force be with you.

I'm liking the show a lot and it just has to be good for me, which it is than it being the best or better than something else but I will say though that it also makes me want to get back to Din Djarin and the Mandalorian show!

I've always liked Boba Fett but can't say he's one of my top favorites while Din Djarin already is and so obviously I prefer him and I enjoyed the first two Mandalorian episodes even much more than this. I'm also more interested in Bounty Hunting and Mandalorian culture than underground crime on Tattoine and Tusken Raiders (although I am intrigued by this new look and side to them)

Definitely need and want to see him in action very soon. Give him the spotlight to shine a bit during a bit action or fight scene!

Really enjoyed this episode. Much more than the first one.

The dispute with the twins Hutts will be something interesting to follow in the next episodes.

But I really liked how the tribe of Tuskens was shown. How Boba gained their confidence and how he became part of the tribe.

    Looking forward to episode 3.

I like how the show is being laid out so far. Fett implants himself as the heir to Jabba, but doesn't have anyone's respect. Meanwhile, the flash-bactas (no I will not let that die) are showing just how worthy of respect he is.

Mok Shaiz: Here is the tribute I offer, some advice: Running a family is more complicated than bounty hunting.
    Fett: Is that it?

We will soon be seeing the mayor, the Hutts, and everyone else along the way regret ever doubting the man.
