Totally random, but I have to laugh about all the protocol between Fett and the majordomo and the others.... I never knew how important it was to have reserved an actual appointment in the GFFA until now. :D

Are you suggesting that Vader didn’t have to book in to see the Emperor - I’m pretty sure that old person in the purple robes was his PA :D

    Good stuff! :D

That running schedule gag has been one of those 'little things' that brings a smile to your face at the moment but you tend to forget once the episode is over.

Given Boba's penchant for 'picking up strays,' I wouldn't be surprised if we find the Majordomo working for Boba next episode.

I hope that Fett leaves that sleazebaggano out in the sun... to borrow a line from Han Solo:

Yeah, I know what you mean.
But there are only 4 episodes left and the possible threats are so uninteresting with no strongs aspects, if you know what I mean.
For me until now has been a little of random something here, a little random there. You don't built like this a story with tension, purpouses, menacing threats and an intentionally "who will be".
You don't say "will be a war" when you only have introduced a graffity group of killers, 4 Pikes and a gang with colored scooters. Cause right now, as we know as viewers, the Pikes will have to fight against 2 gamorreans and 5 random steal waters. Alhough we will probably see Boba recruiting here and there, at this point, this is sad.
Of course the last episodes can be cool. I just say that what has been built so far doesn't give a sense of an epic story cause only there are a lot of little and random ideas.

The wifey and I have binge-watched a wide variety of shows that had a mystery component to them that kept us guessing through the majority of its season. The twists and turns were part of what made them fun to watch.

But when you're watching an action-adventure show like TBoBF one episode at a time, once a week -- and hyper-analyzing it to death like we do here :) -- the abrupt changes to the plot can become frustrating to fans expecting to see one epic story that's laid out in a linear fashion from the get-go. At least to this point, that's not what this show is giving us.

I'm not keen on using non-Star Wars examples here, but that said, I thought Marvel's Loki series did a great job of keeping you guessing all the way through to the final minutes of the finale. So in my book, there's plenty of time yet for the script to establish a nasty, new threat beyond the Pykes if that's where Favreau is going.

As frustrating as it is currently when it comes to Fett's antagonist(s), this is probably the most accurate depiction of Tatooine and its random settlements we could have gotten. There isn't just one bad guy. They (off-worlders, mostly) are all bad guys. It's just a game of what's the least of all evils and flavor-of-the-day alliances. In which case, Fett fits in perfectly... Is he a good bad guy, or a bad good guy?

Sound like it has a problem with some of the audience not somehow understanding that intrigue and obfuscation of who Boba can trust and rely on and who he can't is intended.

It's obviously supposed to be a mystery who's manipulating things from the shadows. Of course the Twins didn't just bow out after being told off by Boba; of course the pykes are not the ultimate bad guys; of course someone's pulling strings; of course the nikto gang are just henchmen for a deeper villain; etc etc etc

c'mon... we ALL know that it's really The Almighty Sarlacc that's behind all this - thanks to being massively annoyed at missing it's Mandalorian armour-clad appetiser and getting bad indigestion and a stomach ulcer from a blowtorch to it's innards :D

    So...

Having just watched The Gathering Storm, it looks like this post hasn't aged well at all as the ol' Pit of Carkoon needs a little more than a Gamorrean sized antacid now
    :D
