oh and another question in the comics both boba and cassandra work for vader before this show, so why do they seem to not know each other here? did the sarlacc wipe boba's memory? did the tuskens beat him until he lost his memory?

Fennec gets picked up from school and is geeking out like
FS: "Dad, you'll never guess what happened today!"
    BF: "Oh?"
FS: "We were all like, playing this game. And we were sooooo gonna lose. But then we won at the last minute when this new kid showed up, he was amazing!"
BF: "That's nice, I'm glad you had fun with your friends."
FS: "Yeah, the new boy gave me his number and everything!"
BF: "Oh? And what was his name?"
    FS: "Luke Skywalker!!!"
    BF: <spits out his spotchka>

That jump scare in the sarlacc, you are waiting for it, waiting for it, waiting... I still jumped right out of my chair. Some E Chu Ta(s) and Ktah(s) were spoken.

I am glad the biker gang is dead, but I hoped for something bloodier. The kid and warrior lady deserved it.

I have the sensation the Howard one and the Filoni one will be the best of the show. Am expecting a more competent visually episodes.

Which brings me to speak about the last 4 episodes. RR ones have been the weakest for a lot of reasons. The other 2 are more acceptable, despite off having some inconsistencies. Why? Cause visually have been much much better.
Sometimes in SW we forget little inconsistencies when the visual part gives us goosebumps and is so interesting and amazing. For me that's why the visual aspect is one of the most important points to develop SW content.
When the visual part is boring we are more focused in the story and is when we see all the weakest points.

I think I can answer my own question
Just read the first few battle of the bounty hunter comics and Jabba double crosses as he thinks boba sells Han in carbonite to a higher bidder so puts a bounty on his head

It should be noted that early in the episode when Boba said he got the Tuskens massacred by the Niko speed bikers, Fennec responded with, "Tuskens killed by speed bikers? I find that highly unlikely."

It was just one little, throw-away line but I have a hard time believing anything would have ever been said to discredit the bikers unless there were other people behind it. I am going on record with this: 1) the bikers DIDN'T kill the Tuskens; and 2) the Tusken Warrior Woman is still alive and being held hostage.

S2:Ep6 of The Mandalorian established that Boba, in fact, is Mandalorian, like his father before him.

I interpreted that as another prop-up of the Tusken people, like saying that "the Tuskens are the best warriors ever!"

That would be incredibly interesting if that was the case! I'll go even further with a theory - the Tuskens are behind everything and faked their deaths in order to propel one who thought like them to power. They knew a Tusken would never be accepted in charge, so they trained Boba in their ways, set him up with tests, and ultimately accepted him as "one of their own" in order to fully indoctrinate him. Then, when the time came, they planted the massacre in order to propel Boba back to civilzation and to see their plan in action. The dead Tuskens are either tribe members who sacrificed themselves for the plan, Tuskens who didn't agree with the tribe, a separate tribe killed for the plan, or humans captured and dressed up to look like Tuskens.

Now, do I think think that theory will happen? Not really, but now I can claim I said it first if it is true! (It also fits with the recontextualization that the cast is promising in Episode 7.)

Boba is a Mandalorian from the same sect that Mando is from through Jango. Bo-Katan calls the "Children of the Watch" a cult in her appearance, so YMMV on whether or not he counts as traditionally Mandalorian, but he is, by some, considered to be Mandalorian.

I'm confused about this--where do we find out Boba/Jango is from the same sect that Mando is from?

When Mando first meets Boba, the former doesn't believe the latter is a Mandalorian. In The Tragedy, once Boba gets his armor back, he proves that Jango was a Foundling, a part of the culture that only exists with the Children of the Watch as far as we know and one that a Child of the Watch such as Mando recognizes and affirms. So to Mando, Boba and Jango are/were Mandalorians.

So that casino belongs to Boba, right? It’s under his protection? And he just stood there and watched as one of his customers had his arm ripped off for the horrible trespass of . . . supporting his business? Then he goes and gives the attacker a job? Man, it's pretty safe to say I'm liking this guy less and less each week.

But we also don't know that Foundlings aren't a part of mainstream Mandalorian culture either, right? Couldn't the term "Foundling" apply to an orphan found by a Mandalorian of any kind...as far as we know...?

All I know is that the talk around Star Wars fandom after The Tragedy was that it was now canon that Boba Fett was Mandalorian.

The debate still rages in the fandom, but then again what debate doesn't still rage among Star Wars fans...? I am just wondering if, assuming Boba is a Mandalorian, we can assume he's a Child of the Watch (like Din) as well.

If a "mod parlor" was a real thing like in Cyberpunk 2077 or TBOBF, I probably would be a customer! I'd have an arm or eye pop out a hologram with mobile device features or something

It could, but Mando is from a very isolated sect of Mandalorians, one that hasn't had contact in the main group for some time. (Not to mention that he didn't react kindly to the Mandalorians from outside of his sect that he did meet.) Add into that the fact that Jango isn't treated like a standard Mandalorian, and you've got a reason to think that he's part of the culture as Mando. (IIRC it's mentioned in TCW. Obi-Wan brings up Jango when on Mandalore, and whoever he's talking to asserts that Jango was not a true Mandalorian)
It's more akin to Boba being born in a different country than his father, but still having citizenship as well as knowing his father's country's anthem and whatnot, but he's still a child of that country by birth, even though he doesn't really associate himself with it or identify as part of it.
Also, Boba hints that he knows the Creed, or is at least familiar with it. When Mando asks if he took the Creed, Boba replies that he gives his allegiance to no-one.

Also Also, Foundling has only been used within The Mandalorian. We've had a lot of interaction with Mandalorians outside of just the one show, so while it's not impossible for "Foundling" to be used outside of The Children of the Watch, I feel as if we'd have seen hints of it before now. But then again, maybe not.

I think we're finding that we don't know as much about Mandalorians as we thought we did from watching TCW and Rebels. If anyone had told us three years ago that there was a weird subculture of Mandos living in the sewers in exile and not taking their helmets off like ever, we'd have laughed in their faces. And yet here we are.

It will be interesting to see if this show actually addresses why Jango was not considered a Mandalorian by some. Did he do something heinous enough to get "disowned"? (Maybe volunteering as a clone donor? Bo-Katan seems to despise the very idea.) Do all Mandos swear some version of a Creed that we just never knew about? (Maybe the Mandos were mad at Satine because she did away with that as part of her pacifism?) Are the Mandalorians who don't consider Foundlings real Mandalorians just racists/speciesists/snobs? Are there some who refuse to recognize the concept of Foundlings altogether?

We might be more likely to get insight into this in Mando season 3 though, especially if that's going to involve owning-the-dark-sabre-makes-you-the-Manda'lor stuff.

Thank you to genie of this forum for having a Wookie tear off an arm in the show.
My next wish is that Elon Musk shows up at my front door with a bag of cash and to tell me he’s sending me to Mars and in the show please have an entire army of Mandalorians hired and let them loose.
I promise I will free you with my last wish.
