My money is on the Tusken Lady Warrior.

I'm going to guess that both Vanth and Garsa Fwip survive into the next episode. At least the start of it. But the eventual death of at least one of them will galavanise others to join Boba and Fennec. I still have a feeling that Boba is going to ultimately decline sitting on a throne on Tatooine and administering a crime kingdom.

Do you think Boba will pick up the Darksaber at some point in episode 7, and become the true wielder of it?

 

He would have to win it in battle. I don't think Boba will be battling for it unless Din loses it in battle to someone else. Which is also possible.

I honestly have no idea where this series is going. It's a wild ride and one that's thrown me for a loop in all sorts of ways, good, bad, and otherwise.

 

I would think not because, aside from the real-world money tree that Grogu is, we'd have to jump significantly into the future of the GFFA--fifteen years or something like that.

Opening scene of Ch.7: The cut scene from the Clone Wars or something similar to it, Boba VS Cad Bane showdown, how Bane got the plate on his head and Boba gets his dent in his buy'ce, hence Cad's anger at Boba.

 

If I had to guess how the finale goes, between a mix of total speculation and what we've seen in episodes so far. Kinda cheesey, but could be fun if they lean into it:

The Pykes begin an Assault on Jabba's Palace. Mando and Fennec support from the air (from the Firespray and the N1) while Fett and the mods support from the ground (with help from the rancor, whom Fett rides).

The battle goes well for a while, but the Pykes eventually begin to overwhelm the defenders. Just when all looks dark, a heavily bandaged Cobb Vanth arrives, with a Freetown militia and a huge cavalry of Tusken Raiders (it would be weird to see them in single file, so perhaps Cobb makes some comment about them not needing to hide their numbers any longer).

The tide of battle turns, but in the throne room, Fett and Bane face off. They have a quick shoot out (almost reminiscent to the final Maul v Kenobi fight in its brevity) with Bane being killed, but Fett is also grievously wounded.

As the Pykes are driven away, Fett has consolidated his power and taken Tatooine, freeing it from the Pykes. Something blips on the radar as the remaining Pykes retreat- the Twins have returned. As Fett succumbs to his wounds and dies, Fennec or Mando mentions that someone needs to take up his mantle to ensure that Tatooine remains free. Cobb Vanth takes the armor back, placing his helmet on and contacting the Twins. He tells them that Tatooine is under the protection of Boba Fett, and the the Pykes have fallen. The twins leave, and Tatooine is left free, with Vanth left in the role of Tatooine's protector (as well as his old armor). He begins to chronicle a legend, mixing events from Fett's life in his own, in a compendium called "The Book of Boba Fett".

One of Luke's droids pilots a ship with a chainmail-clad Grogu, en route to Mando on Tatooine. It is intercepted by a squadron of Mandalorian gauntlet fighters, and boarded by either Bo Katan or the Armorer/Viszla.

 

Predictions for Ep7
- Vanth is alive (he got shot in the shoulder, also the phrase "get the stims" comment by a Freedom town villager)
- Grogu chooses Mando (Disney gave it away w/ Naboo Starfighter, the droid port was replaced by a dome i.e.- Grogu riding shotgun).
- Boba will die of "old age"
- Top of my head, one thing which links the Mandalorian, BOBF and the upcoming Aksoka series is Thrawn.
- Anakin is the one who saved Grogu and wiped his memory to protect him from future Inquisitors. Any other Jedi would not have had a reason to block his memory.

Swinging for the fences... The Boba character should be around 45 in TBOB whereas TM is in his mid 60s. What if.. the cloning process wasn't perfect and despite being 'an unaltered clone', accelerated aging kicked in at 40year'ish. Kinda explains why Boba, Snoke and TROS's Palpatine all looked old as the road.

@ Palpatine.. seriously man if you're going to clone yourself go with a younger body and not a 120 year old geezer.

Okay, I’m going to take a stab at predicting (or wishful thinking about) the finale:

• Grogu’s decision won’t be revealed until Mando S3.
• Robert Rodriquez will deliver a truly memorable ‘all killer, no filler’ finale.
• Boba will ride his rankor into the fray.
• Boba Fett will have a dramatic face off against Cad Bane.
• Black Krrsanatan will face off against the bounty Hunter, Bossk
• Cobb Vance survived his shootout with Bane and will bring a squadron of Freetowners to the battle.
• The Tusken Chieftess survived and will lead a squadron of Tusken warriors into the fray.
• Qu’ira from SOLO will make a surprise appearance and we’ll learn she is behind the Pikes.
• A deep-faked Harrison Ford will return as Han Solo (and hopefully reunite with Luke Skywalker.) I’d like to add Leia into that reunion too but I’m thinking that’s too much to ask for.

Deep breath…fingers crossed.

 

Not my theory but...

Supposedly there is a TikTok going around (sorry, I haven't seen it and can't credit it--this is thirdhand info) that suggests that the way the "peripheral" material we've seen in chapters 5 and 6 will tie in with the earlier Boba material is this: Boba Fett was the mercenary (working for the Imperials/Palpatine) who stole Grogu from the Temple during Order 66. Everything will come full circle in the grand finale, with Cad Bane vengeful that Boba was successful in the job where he failed.

Sorry that's all the info I've got. If anyone knows of that TikTok theory, please expound upon it!

 

I think it's safe to predict Grogu won't be choosing Din any time soon. It would make their separation at the end of the second series seem ridiculous. Yeah they said they would meet again. But clearly the last scene between them had Grogu ask Din to take his helmet off "just this once" to look upon his actual face. As if it might be the last time they properly see each other for long time.

 

That's so underwhelming... joking!

 

We don’t know what the time jump between the end of TM:S2:Ep8 and TBoBF Ep 5 was. For all we know, it could have been years.
