If there's one thing we can all agree on it's that the concept art for The Book of Boba Fett is just a brilliant as the work shown on The Mandalorian before it.

I seriously want to buy a drink for whoever it was at LfL that decided to feature the artwork from each episode over each Chaper's end credits was a good idea!

    Boba's escape
For years it seemed he'd met an ignominious end in the guts of the Sarlacc, until that reveal in season 2 of The Mandalorian. From the moment The Book of Boba Fett was announced fans were anticipating seeing Boba's escape on screen ...and that was just what we got. The added touch of the Sail Barge wreckage was the icing on the cake.

While many had speculated that there may be some kind of Hutt presence in TBOBF, I don't think anyone had dared imagine that Black Krrsantan would be making his on screen debut. A surprise, but a welcome one.

    Just shipping
Ever since I was a youngling the biggest draws to this galaxy far, far away for me was the fantastical starships. From this point of view I've never been disappointed by what we've seen on screen. We were guaranteed the iconic Firespray...

...but another neat surprise from the show has to be the reborn N1. Absolute credit goes to @rchurchdesign for bringing this beauty back!

    Returning legends
Star Wars animation has always had the advantage of being able to depict just about anything it wanted and get away with it. Converting that to a convincing and credible live action depiction obviously brings a whole raft of challenges. Although we've seen Ahsoka on screen in Mando s2, her re-reveal in Chapter 6 was great and this image is pretty much my favourite of the whole show!

I've thrown out a few of my favourites below - so now it's your turn to show Uncle Laz which you've liked!

I'm gonna add this piece in too, because 'mood' ...I mean I thought lower Bespin was a dangerous place to be, but this - holy moly!!!
What IS it with the lack of guard rails in this GFFA? Seems like a massivley unexploited market for a savvy galactic tradesman :D

In TFA, no guard rails, as Han approaches his son... we all know what's about to happen... Mando S2 E4 Chapter 12, Mythrol states, 'there is no guard rails' when he is about to turn off the reactor controls and drain the coolant, and now this awesome fight scene, enhanced with no guard rails, no guard rails, for me, amps the tension, both aren't wearing a jetpack, so whoever falls is gone... far far away... great fight scene.

I bet some VIP stubbed their toe on a railing once, back in the olde timey Galactic Republic times, and ammended the space constitution to forbid such dangers to health and safety in all civilized systems!

The art with R2 and the Naboo starfighter... Din looks like he does in some of the very early Mando season 1 art--no cape, gray clothes rather than his dark brown. It makes you wonder how long the current plotlines have been around and how many reworkings they've had.

Good spot! I'd not really thought about the re-use or spinning an idea back into script which was tossed from an earlier one.

O/T Indeed... and we know how well they work. Seems like it's damned if you you and damned if you don't! :D

Does this production art suggest that the Rancor has Drax-like levels of invisibility? It's like no-one's fussed at all :D

Well, clearly Boba is riding it, so it must be a tame rancor, very docile... :D
