Two worlds colliding. Notice how Rey is in the "red world" (dark side) and Kylo is in the blue one (light side). They crashed into each other so hard that they ended up in each other's place lol
    I like it.

If TROS is about balance in the force, I hope they use this song for the marketing. It won't happen, but one can dream.

    Is a really cool illustration.
In my opinion it has more hidden meanings than we think. And it's pretty clear that both represents the duality and equilibrium. They are the yin and yang. And Rey being on red and Kylo on blue probably says more than we see at first sight.

I also think that Kylo maybe represents he is under water (as @Andrew Waples suggest), where the rest of Death Star has something important for him or the Emperor.

I still believe both will enter the opposite side and they will find equilibrium. Probably the rise has more sense that way if Rey is a nobody and Kylo has Skywalker blood.
But I am not quite sure if the world (specially young followers) is prepared to see an evil Rey. This could be an unexpected twist.

This is my feeling as well. From their dialog in TLJ going to Snoke's throne room, they both said the other would turn. It's clear they both have the gift of foresight, so if they are to be believed then there's a good case for both to enter into opposite sides at some point, even if it's just temporary. Now that would be a twist. However, and as you say, I'm not sure people are prepared to see a "evil" Rey.

Anything can happen. Perhaps Rey falls under the control of the dark side in a desperate attempt to save a loved one, like Anakin did for Padmé. Luke once said Palpatine's overconfidence was his weakness. To which Palpatine replied that Luke's faith on his father was his. What could Rey's supposed weakness be? Or has she gone through and overcame that when she faced her dark side test on Ahch-To?

Ironically, during the fight she showed way more anger then Kylo did. We all know that anger is a path of the dark side. Anger, fear, agression.

While it is great to theorize about, we are not going to see Rey turn dark in The Rise of Skywalker. She has been built up as this trilogy’s hero and they doubled down on it in the trailer. We are in the final act of this trilogy. She is not going to turn now. If she was going to turn whether permanently or temporarily, it would have been in TLJ

Rey's weakness are her parents. If someone were to manipulate her it would be by pulling that string.

I don't see it that way. The anger or aggression demonstrated in a fight is not that anger that comes from fear and that leads to hatred. The anger that brings you to the dark side is that born of helplessness and desperation... In the fight Rey was angry in the same way one get angry in the gym... to channel your strength, to become physically more powerful. It's different. The anger that comes from hopelessness is more likely to lead to hatred and resentment. It is a rage that hates the world and everyone in it. That's what happened to Kylo, I think. For Rey to fall into the dark side she would need to become angry with the world and, for me, the way to achieve that is by her being told that her drunk parents were perhaps victims of the good guys. Just a thought.

Yes, I agree. The thing is, hasn't she dealt with and made peace with her parents in TLJ? Because if so, I don't see any other apparent weakness of hers, so I don't know what could help turn her, were that to happen. Unless, there was some dramatic turn of events where she learns something new about her parents.

She's made peace with what she discovered in TLJ but that may not be the full story. And JJ is telling that as much.

Would like to share these beautiful concept art for TROS. Not sure if these drawings are in the book. Can someone please confirm that to me? I didn't buy it yet.

Impressive artwork! About the image that was originally posted I see it as a study of the concept of Balance of the Force, or how the Light and Dark sides clash—and will keep on clashing—until such Balance is achieved.

After so many years I finally bought the book. There are some beautiful images in it. Nothing about Palpatine and the Last Order, but I know that makes sense, since the book was released before the movie.

Would like to share some of the oracle and Kylo Ren. The book confirms that these shots were filmed but I dont have any idea if we are going to see the them someday.
