Having kept up with stuff for going on 5 years it doesn't really bring up any larger questions for me. People who don't like what they see are looking for reason why it's not true. Just take it all with a grain of salt and don't get too attached to any idea. Without context spoilers can seem terrible. The Last Jedi ends with a small boy sweeping is an actuate description of and ending of the film with zero context.

So have I, the best spoilers we ever got were MSW and MF.net for TFA.

MSW took years to get a full synopsis working and MF.net dropped a shooting script (or what ever it's called) only months before TFA.

TLJ was absolutely baron of credible leaks until the marketing + early screenings started.

I actually don't mind the JP synopsis overall. I also trust MSW more than most.

however i'm now extremely wary that we could be getting made up plot filler hypothesizing from JP to fill in the gaps of the information he has. As Magnar has just highlighted above JP's now suggesting the "sith acolyte Ochie" may be a bug that has the resistance symbol around him?

MSW also has reported way back about Luke’s X-wing being on set and recently has said something similar about Rey leaving Ach to in it.

While I expect some of the finest details to be off there seems to be to many similarities turning up to dismiss the larger picture completely.

I also expect some major twist or change do to the recent last minute reshoots

 

My take on this is that introducing D-0 on Ochee's ship does not necessarily mean Ochee ever had any links with D-0.
Or even if he did, why can't D-0 have been created by Babu Frik AND also later owned by Ochee - the two things are not mutually exclusive?

Couldn't part of the reason D-0 is there (narratively speaking) be to connect these two plot points?:
- Threepio cannot translate the inscription on the dagger
- Babu Frik is a droid expert who can modify Threepio so that he can read the text
Therefore: D-0 suggests someone who can help our heroes, and he knows them because it the person who created him.
They then seek out Babu Frik, and Bliss is somehow instrumental in helping them gain access to him.

 

Hasn’t there been a video talking about the D O toy and it’s engineering that says it was made by BB8? Or did I get that wrong?

 

I am not happy with Ben Solo being thrown into the abyss and not hearing from him again. There are so many better ways to end things. Anyone else feeling disappointed?

I also read a shot description of Rey holding Ben in her arms and kissing him on the cheek but that isn’t in this spoiler. I’m not trying to go Reylo, but I like that ending better. I’d like to see him sacrifice himself in some sort of way. Also, he needs to win at least ONE fight with Rey...come on! Lol

I know I’m late to the party and I’ve been avoiding episode IX rumors. But I’ve heard that chewy dies. I hope this doesn’t happen. Also I’ve heard rumor that c3po is bad because of some red eyes. Again I hope this is a falsehood. If c3po is bad then all the powers that be are only writing for the shock value.

I know I’ve made my dislike of episode viii known and I don’t want to be considered as a troll. This is not my goal here. But the point of Star Wars to me while I grew up was good trumps evil. No matter how much the odds are stacked against you, you never give up. The odds are stacked against me here and I’m almost defeated.

I surly hope c3po isn’t bad. If it ends up being true I will never enter this site again and give up Star Wars all together.

George should have made Disney do his story as part of the sale.

 

Exactly. He should've had some type of clause in the contract he when signed Star Wars over to Disney. Star Wars is his baby. Since this sequel trilogy meant so much to him, he should've been more cautious. Then again, hindsight is 20/20 and he probably didn't think Disney would take the ST in a different direction. At least, not in a direction that would make him regret selling Star Wars.

So, Lando is considered to be Ben Solo's uncle (of course not by blood). If Jannah is Lando's daughter, does this make her Kylo's cousin (also not by blood)? If yes, then there is yet another "family member" with whom Kylo doesn't have any closure- at least if we believe this leak.

This is my biggest issue with JP's leak. Kylo doesn't get any closure with his family and Rey.

 

There is only one legitimate leak that deserves to be talked about: Chris Terrio comments re Kylo and Rey on Empire magazine

 

No closure and there's no romance : p

 

I think that JP is just joining dots in the way he himself finds more logical and satisfying. I’m sure if any of us had the same information he had, we would be telling a different story with emphasis in different places.
