The Best Lines in Solo

Lando: "How much do you know about intertwined celestial bodies? Because, I am somewhat of an authority....."

 

I think one of the best lines was
Lando: I hate you
Han: I know

Had me laughing

I really loved Alden's line reading of "What good would that do anybody? Let us through" when Han and Qi'ra were trying to leave Corellia.

 

Tobias Beckett: "I really hurt my thumbs!"
Maul: "One man could not have done this alone."
Han: "So either you healed real quick or you stole it off a dead man."
Also Han: "Not when you round down buddy."
Also Han Again: "I am NOT the good guy. I am a terible person."

Han and Lando's entire exchange during their first game of Sabaac was also just pure bliss.

 

To my own personal likes, the dialogue in this movie was just, non-stop gold. From comedic lines from minor characters like the troopers watching Han and Chewie in the pit saying "He's killing them too fast." "Yeah kill them slower!" to major character lines "Not if you round down, buddy!" and "I hate you." "I know." and "They're holograms you can't just wipe them away." to serious "Assume everyone will betray you and you will not be disappointed" and "Smile was the word"

I liked the line at the beginning when Han shows up and the enforcer basically asks "What happened?" and Han is like "You won't believe it" then realizes what he just said and goes damage control "Well, you'll believe it..." that whole intro scene "Those guys ripped us off, we can't trust them!" The whole exchange. Just the whole movie for me was perfect dialogue all the way through.

Though if I had to pick a favorite line, I'd go with the "almost line" when Qi'ra is flying away at the end. She's looking down at Han. It's like, she wants to say something. She almost says something. But there's nothing to be said, there's no one to hear it. Almost a line. That scene was so great. Han's expression as she flies away. One by one, they all betray him and leave. The line "everyone will betray you" turned out to be... wrong! Because there was Chewie, still by his side; paw on shoulder.
