    Yeah I'm from Texas so every time I go back to visit my parents and dogs I ALWAYS go there...to be fair, it's almost always after I've partied all night :D.

    Or if you haven't been, try Fogo de Chao....it's so freakin expensive but totally worth it where they literally bring you the raw meat on a hook and you select what you want to be cooked and how.

    I cooked up these sweet potato chips with a marshmallow cream sauce the other day. I have to say, they were fabulous.

    I know Kansas City is famous for BBQ, but 2 weeks ago we were downtown by the Farmers Market area, and we went to a local eatery that specializes in using local farmers products. I ordered the Eggs Benedict. It was amazing. Black forest ham, the perfect thick and cream sauce...

    Fastfood wise, In n Out: Double Single and fries, Five Guys: hamburger with everything minus mayo and fries, lots of fries , and eegees: hot italian grinder with straw (Tucson area) are faves.
    We have Whataburger in Arizona, good stuff. As a kid, I refused to eat there though, because I thought it was a water-burger and just a ruse to get me to drink more fluids or something. Glad I found out the truth :)

    Fastfood wise, besides the standard burger/fries, I go for eegees: hot italian grinder, fries with ranch, with strawberry/pina colada eegee OR a lemon eegee are faves. Special of Tucson area only, I won't say it's worth a trip by itself, but maybe an extended layover ;)
