SPECULATION The Black X-Wing

I think it was before you signed up but there was some speculation circling that Poe was the son of Sabine and Ezra because Oscar Isaac looks like Ezra's father in their cartoon family portrait.

 

SOOOO , We've got Poe - related to Ezra/Sabine, Rey- Han/Leia, Kylo- Han/Leia, One of the Weezlys -Luke Skywalker, Finn is a Calrissian and someone is a Tarkin.

Maybe it helps get him away from the tie fighter chasing him & maybe positioning him behind it.

In an interview, Adam Driver said something along the lines of this:
"(Star Wars) is about someone not feeling loved enough or feeling betrayed."
If he's referring to his character (Kylo), then I seriously think we'll be seeing the whole "no time for kids" thing in TFA.

 

Good, he should sort himself out first before being a role model of the darkside.

 

That's kind of what I'm thinking. A lot of people are thinking that he's a matured, superior leader of the Empire. Yet from the teaser he just seems to be an unstable, reckless person. That's why I'm thinking that he's a Solo who's lost his way. Kylo's got none of the cool calculation of Vader, instead he is impulsive and angry, sort of like a ROTS Anakin.

 

I knows im bring up a eu character but this sounds similar to Jacen Solo.

 

If Kylo Ren is a big shot imperial leader, and Adam Driver is Kylo Ren, then what is Adam Driver doing in a x-wing pilot uniform?

 

I guess he is lending his pilot skills to the rebels before changing sides half way through.

 

So...he changes sides, becomes an imperial leader and then a sith in an act and a half!? Man, it took anakin a whole trilogy to do that! This new generation knows how to get things done!!

(P.s. In case you didn't pick up on it, I'm being factious. All due respect, but it ain't buying that one. )

The Black X-Wing is parked really far away from the Millenium Falcon.
I assume it's just a cool prop on the set.
If it's piloted then by a person who is not familar with Han Solo. (not yet)
Maybe Poe or Kylo Ren is piloting it, but I guess that the craft is not piloted by a child of Solo.

 

Also, Poe's helmet doesn't look like the helmets from the OT. It reminds me of a helmet from the saga at some point though, but I can't pinpoint it. I wanted to say the Naboo Fighter helmets but it wasn't that one. The one I'm thinking of is maroon I think. I searched online and couldn't find what I'm thinking of, so maybe it doesn't exist. Thoughts?

 

I like the old helmets a bit better.

 

I think the new helmets are a mashup of the fighter pilot helmets from both trilogies.

Also, don't assume that the shots from the trailer aren't in the right order. I'm 99% sure that the reason you don't see anything on the side of Rey's speeder is because that second shot hadn't been fully developed, so smaller details like accoutrements hadnt be added in yet to the CGI shot

We don't know for sure if that really is Adam Driver or not.
