    Simple really...

    In Aftermath: Empire's End we find out an unknown source has been reaching out solely to Palpatine from the Unknown Regions.

    The question on my mind is: What/why did they want of Palpatine?

    If it was indeed Snoke, did he want to team with Palps? Destroy him?

    Interested to hear some thoughts...

    Probably take his power and destroy him, from what we know about Snoke, he seems very manipulative and ruthless all at once.

    no idea, but I cant wait to find out... I just pray with all that is within me we never hear the name Yuzhon Vong in the new canon. hated them.

    If Snoke was calling out to Palpatine, perhaps he was just lonely and knew Palpatine was also a scarred, old, aged darkside force user hell bent on messing with the minds of Skywalkers. they had a lot in common, and maybe Snoke just needed a bro. Gets lonely out in Wild Space, I'll tell you.

    I think Snoke felt Palpatine's POWerrrr and was curious...it wasn't Snoke's time to emerge yet...

    my current guess is that he had been imprisoned on Illum by the ancient Jedi, hence his grudge against them. Fist Order found him, and he got them to make a qeapon out of the planet, intending for the light side sympathizers ro destroy the planet once sacred to the jedi.

    What if Snoke wasn't what was calling Palpatine? What if Snoke only serves it and it is something unfathomably evil, beyond corporeal form, something that wants to change the very structure of the universe to it's own kind of structure. I've probably been listening to the Tanis podcast too much. But I like the idea and it would up the stakes.
