    4. Blue Rasberry - DEFINITELY our favourite! We did a second round and this one definitely holds up! Tastes like sweet berries, not bitter and no strange aftertaste.

Next one: 5. Grape. I took the first bite and immediately hated it! And Rocky was like - give it a second, she thought it tasted like a cough medicine she likes XD but then the awful aftertaste set it...

    6. Cherry! I had high hopes for the Cherry one- smells like bubble gum! Rocky would have liked it better if it tasted a bit more like Cherry jelly, you know, like the stuff they use for Poptarts filling. And we were a bit disappointed with the aftertaste, which was quite similar to the Watermelon flavoured one.

First thing we did after trying all the different flavours was to brush our teeth for about 10 minutes and guess what- our tongues were still coloured blue!

Last but not least we checked out this Italian restaurant "Mondo Italiano" that recently re-opened in my home town.

We had a plate of antipasti:
    IMG_20190302_144710.jpg

... and the Pizza Roma featuring hot peperoni:
    Screenshot_20190305-181021.jpg

    It was quite delicious :)

Sometimes pineapple is good. Sometimes it isn't. The real trick is to honor the pineapple and not to eat it with everything you get. It has to be special :p

Yep, that's the one, @Lock_S_Foils :D May I ask what you payed for it? (Over here it would be around... $6, judging by the size of your cheese. It is very small! :p ). And more importantly, what do you think about it? My favorite use of brown cheese is to put slices on freshly baked dark/whole wheat bread :D

    Enjoy, man!

It was $8.49....but worth it! Put it on toast last night and it is awesome! It melted a little down into it , really nice flavor.

That's how you do :) Sweaty brown cheese on hot bread = magic :D

    You're welcome, sir!

Edit: Here's a tip. You can melt 2-3 slices of brown cheese into brown gravy for an extra smooth and nice flavor ;)

Today at the company’s cantina, I had to skip the salad buffet for obvious reasons…

Talking about crawfish and southern cuisine (oh, it was in that other thread)...

Guys, could somebody help me out with a yummy, field proven recipe for Gumbo you can do without any special, french-style sausage?

I tried to cook one once long time ago, from a cookbook I bought in New Orleans 1995. It was a total mess and waste of resources.

People, people, people! Let's gather around for some small but DELICIOUS food love!

Yesterday we - the love of my life, General @RockyRoadHux, and my humble self, the Supreme Leader of the entire galaxy - made these little quiches:
    4e1b7ed9-e9ae-4e2f-934a-ed7adca0cdc9.jpg

For the ones with bacon and onions: Heat the oil in a saucepan and sauté the onions, then add the bacon and some pine nuts and fry until crispy. Add mustard and season with pepper. Put aside.

For the ones with goat cheese: Mix finely chopped dried tomatoes, basil, and crumbled goat's cheese.

Here's the rest of the recipe:

    79244568-f56f-45d7-8365-8f4bb576b735.jpg

Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut out circles (or squares, it really doesn't matter : D ) with a cookie cutter and place in muffin cases. Fill one half of the dough with the onion-bacon mixture, the other half with the tomato-cheese mixture.

Whisk eggs and milk. Pour half of the egg and milk mixture over the bacon and onion quiches.

Preheat the oven and bake the mini quiches at 200 ° C for 15-20 minutes.

    ENJOY!

... the great thing about quiches is that you can add absolutely anything that crosses your mind: shrimp, sausage, any vegetable you want... next time we'll make quiches, there are going to be some with pinapple : D

Earlier that day we went to a furniture store, aside from some nice kitchens they had some nice SW merch too:

a green smoothie and baked beans with fried eggs, cherry tomatoes, tahin and lots of sage- my favourite ones (they are hard to get!) are the beans are from Heinz, they're non-gmo and have no added sugar or artificial sweetener.

    definitely the best!

one of the few advantages of living on this stoopid island (UK) is that Heinz baked beans can be found in almost any kind of store here.
just my opinion, but is the best meal posted on this entire thread ! :D
