I can highly recommend this one. I for my part didn't need the chicken, but the combination of tomatoes, cheese, pineapple and curry sauce was simply devine.

 

Not far from me a dominos is . Hmm, hmm.

Vegan food might be good but creates a lot of paradoxes like hamburger without ham, Pizza without cheese, milk without milk, Hot Dog without Dog (hm, wait a sec...)
The vegan paradox I call it.

Vegan doesn't necessarily mean good for weight loss or even healthy. In the past, someone who was vegan had limited options and most likely just ate a lot of fruits, veggies, grains, and probably a lot of tofu. Now there are a lot more processed vegan foods and most have a lot of oil and refined sugar. So you still have to be conscious about making healthy choices. Vegan food has no cholesterol and less saturated fat, but can vary in just how much healthier it is. Vegan donuts will still make you fat.

Plant based meats are getting pretty close to indistinguishable, especially when incorporated into a prepared dish.

I've only been vegan for a few years. I am a very skeptical person. I read a lot on the subject and decided to do it for my health. I wasn't big on the animal cruelty aspects of it, but that has become part of my stance over time.

Not posting these pics to convince anyone, or start any debates. Not here to tell anyone what they should be doing. Just showing vegans eat more than just salads. Although I do eat some really great salads from time to time.

Vegan restaurants on average are slightly more expensive. But the basic fruits, veggies, and grains that go into making vegan food are extremely cheap. So I'd say eating out has gotten more expensive but my grocery bill has actually dropped dramatically.

 

Impossible burgers and Beyond burgers are very good. They make spicy sausages too. But to get them to be more like meat, they put a lot of oil in them because meat has fat and grease. They taste pretty much exactly like meat, but their nutritional value is about the same too, so not exactly the healthiest option. I usually go for a veggie burger or black bean burger. Tastes absolutely nothing like meat, but still very good and much healthier. But everyone indulges sometimes, and those are the must fun pics to share. My veggie subs and bean burritos taste great, but not quite as picturesque.

 

This is two kilograms of salted pork that I ordered a few years ago. It still remains the best salad I ever had.
