Aww! These look cute, but a little pasty...? What's the recipe?

This one has a lot of layers, looks very different from the tiramisu I know. Love the gingerbread hearts on the top.

So for today's lunch it was a really good Taiwanese Restaurant in Covent Garden.

So we have their specialty Xiao Long Baos these ones filled with Crab & Pork
    20200111_122534.jpg

    Then some Char Sui Buns
    20200111_123011.jpg

& then some Prawn & Pork Shumai
    20200111_123929.jpg

Also it has a open kitchen so you can watch the team of chefs preparing all the dishes.

I like to spice things up from time to time. Here's a few of my favorite spicy condiments. Anyone else have any favorites?

Can't go wrong with just plain Franks. It makes a great Buffalo sauce when combined with butter too.

I love the smokey Chipotle variety of Tabasco.

Now this particular Mexican hot sauce is cheap, I'm talking dollar store cheap, but I love the flavor and how thick it is.

Sriracha adds a little sweetness I like.

This chili garlic sauce is great on anything. I love the flavor. Lately I've been putting it in noodles.

    I love me some Valentina!

If I want something with a bit more of a kick, i'll go with Tapatío. It's just as cheap as Valentina as well.

Has anyone here ever made pancakes using melted ice cream instead of milk for the batter? I have a recipe I'm working on, and I want to make it as extravagant as possible.

Oh good luck! Once everything is over, you two should take a trip to Tokyo to try out some of the souffle pancakes there. You'll adore them!
