I know I'm getting excited about something when I start to have dreams about it. Several times over the past month or so I've dreamt about TFA.

    It's always horrible.

That's not to say I'm pessimistic about the movie, but as dreams tend to do, the story gets wildly incomprehensible, and at some point my conscious brain is trying to make sense of what's happening. Why is Vader telling Admiral Ozzel to pull the parking brake on a star destroyer, while Leia and Luke sit in a Starbucks drinking hot chocolate after buying new boots at the Clark's store?

Who else is dreaming about this movie?

I would be more inclined to think that there is a something in your life you need to put the parking break on and there is a part of you that knows they need to do it, but the heroic part of you for some reason has decided to take a break so to speak. Is someone making you do something maybe you aren't thrilled about doing?

me too! A lot of my dreams stem from my disbelief that we are ACTUALLY getting another Star Wars movie with the original cast this year. Even after the teaser dropped I was still in denial it would ever happen, even after casting was announced. I was just waiting for the day it was announced that, "Haha just kidding, here's another horrible Transformers movie."

That's where my pessimistic dreams started but now I have had ones where I'm in the theater watching this movie and I'm like "this is terrible. What even is this?" and my fiancee is always with me in these dreams and she says "This is the new star wars movie."

Glad to know I'm not alone in these dreams. Despite all of them I really do think this movie going to be great.

The parking brake was stuck on my Alfa. I thought it was the biggest problem that car had until it threw a rod Saturday afternoon.

I dreamed months ago, my goodness. Was awful too. A ship falling from the sky into the ocean but it was a Lego effect(like WTF?), weird jumps. But there was some interesting things, like a scene in the woods with Imperials carrying a tomb or whatever it was, and the Yavin Temple.

I had a weird one that was low angle, showing grevious' legs and cape. Very kinetic shots as the characters stormed forward. Then the camera pulled back and showed that the characters was tiny... like a foot tall. The camera panned around and showed--as the Cape was dramatically removed--that it was a brown teddy - bear with cybernetic arms and legs, and a bandolier of light sabers. There, the characters stopped in front of a tiny door with claymation/Muppet - like characters...a red bird, a yellow rodent thing, and a blue rabbit, all dressed like they were out of Starfox. The bird had a lightsaber. After that, I woke up confused, wondering what the crap I had just seen was.

I'm glad I'm not alone in weird star wars dreams.

When I'm not dreaming of electric sheeple, I'm haunted by visions of amateur sketches based on TFA production artwork. (shivers)

On a cereal note, your dream should probably feature at least one character from TFA to be in the TFA section.

I think, once, I had a dream about TFA. I was spectating in the movie, but not actually IN it, if you know what I mean. Basically it was the end of the movie, and I was expecting Luke to make his big appearance and defeat Kylo ren in the epic showdown. But I was disappointed, as nothing good had happened so far. Everyone had been saying that it would be a great film but it wasn't one.
Then, Andy serkis made an appearance, carried in a sedan chair by knights in full armor. Later on, I saw kylo en in a castle room being talked to by serkis, and then the film ended. I was super disappointed, but then I woke up and remembered it was just a dream.

I wonder were you flying the millennium falcon, hoping to hop on the back of the speeder bike with Daisy, or flying the nearest xwing. Maybe all three.

I have had two separate dreams about episode 7. My first dream was that I tried to watch the film several times but every time I did the cinema would lose power. Rolling blackouts every time!

Second dream was that the movie really sucked and Disney canceled all other future star wars films.

much prefer the first dream I think!

I had a weird dream about Rebels. It involved Sabine and some other chick who appeared in the same art style meeting up in Miami to help Frodo-Ezra in his condo, who for some reason grew a colossal wizard beard and had a wild anime mop-top haircut. For some reason, I also prowled the rooftops of floating houses while noticing that the night sky got considerably brighter for some reason three hours after night fell. Also, it involved a huge not-battle in Middle-earth (which was a few miles away from frickin' Miami), where the forces of good had to put meat back on the menu for a large group of orcs and aliens at a huge cookout or face death. I ended up working at a restaurant that was catering to this event.

Why yes, this is what my dreams are like at their most sensical.

I didn't have any Episode VII related dream... yet.
Back when Episode I was released, I did have a Episode II related dream:
They started the castings for Anakin's role and, after a world-wide selection process, I got the part. They had to spend a big part of the budget on digitally add muscle mass to me, because at that time I was very thin. (Today, they'd have to spend that money on add muscle mass AND remove fat, since I'm not in any better shape and I grew a nice belly these last years). Episode II world's premiere was at my town's theather (a little cinema in a little town with barely 10.000 inhabitants). Natalie Portman and me were involved on a romantic relationship (maybe just for promotional purposes), and when we arrived the town for the premiere all the girls who gave me the brushoff were there to kick themselves, prisoners of their envy...

Back when I was a wee lad and The Phantom Menace hadn't yet come out, I had a dream about going to see it. In the dream, the entire movie consisted simply of Ewan McGregor walking from the right side of the screen to the left against a completely black background.

I had a really weird TFA dream last night. In it I wasn't even watching the movie, but I was on a forum and some poster saw the movie a few days before it came out and talked about it. He said it was awful and was one of the worst movies of the year. There was an over-reliance on CGI, the story was nonexistent, and the acting was terrible. If I remember correctly, the poster said that Daisy Ridley in particular was pretty bad. Then he said the movie ended with Kylo Ren kidnapping Rey. Like she was in the woods and he comes out of nowhere and kidnaps her then the credits roll. The post itself was pretty short, but yeah, it was a really specific dream.

I dreamed I was inside somewhere local, the bowling alley without any alleys and there were hundreds of people wanting to get into a theater of sorts. There were massive screens showing the trailer over and over again. I could hear the star wars theme it was playing so loud it woke me up. It was a very strange dream...
