    Ima-Gun Di ("I'm gonna die"...he did)

    The character is still canon, but his name isn't as it didn't originate in the movie. It likely will be recanonized, but just hasn't happened yet.

    Still an odd choice, IMHO, for names of characters that supposedly live in a galaxy far, far away. And IIRC, "Moff" is derogatory Dutch slang for Germans.

    BTW, it's Maximilien François Marie Isidore de Robespierre ;)

    The planet "Scipio". Not because of the way it's spelled, which is actually kind of cool, but because it's pronounced "Skippy-O". Makes all the stuff about it being an economically-important planet in the Star Wars setting come across as unbearably goofy.

    Worst names in Star Wars:

    Mon Calamari. I always think of calamari rings at a seafood restaurant.
    Snoke. Really? An all-powerful bad guy is named... Snoke.

    Also, even though I love the prequels, Attack of the Clones was a pretty confusing name to the movie because the clones did not "attack," per se.They "rescued" the jedi. (But I wouldn't have named the film "recuse of the clones" either. )

    Even though dexter Jettster was named after George's son, I think it sounds too earthly for an alien unless that's literally the guys's nickname.

    Although I'm a fan of the prequels, I was always a little confused by the "Nubian" ships in TPM. Isn't that a slang term for an African American?

    (My understanding is that it is a positive term, but regardless, I don't mean any offense to anyone.)
