Whaaa. I have to rewatch this episode! I've been marathoning my way through Clone Wars and Rebels and I missed this! Do you have the minute mark where he says it??

Yoda hears his future self's dying words. It's what he will say to Luke in ROTJ. So by the end of the Clone Wars series, Yoda has learned that Anakin will have kids who represent a new hope for the galaxy in the future. He is referring to Luke and Leia, before they are born.

 

He's probably seeing the future in the present .

 

Yes, it is Yoda having a vision of his death, which explains why he knew it was time for him to die when he did. It's messy, hey, that's Star Wars.

But what was weirder to me was the part when a Priestess said "He is to teach one that will save the universe from the great imbalance". Who is that? It should be Anakin, but Yoda never taught Anakin, so it's Luke. I'm confused.

 

Yoda did teach Anakin. Yoda taught pretty much everyone.

 

The last episode is to give insight on how Master Yoda comes to terms with the PT. His vision regarding the OT was just a foreshadow to what might become. If you remember the Mortis story with Anakin the father let him see what will become of him if he doesnt choose. Yoda follows the way of the force after the last episode and is so concerned of well being than the war it self. Whats weird is that how he is in the PT when Luke met him. so quirky. but time will tell...

 

It refers to Luke without any doubt, it is simply a vision of sorts that allows him to see into the future. What is the point of that vision? To give him hope. Skywalker is the chosen one so after he falls to the dark side and takes part in annihilation of the jedi, Yoda might have fallen into despair but then he realizes the meaning of those words.

 

i DON'T think we will ever reach a season 6 now that i think about it .

 

Um, you mean in Rebels or? If so, I agree, I don't think Rebels has 6 season in it. I mean it is possible but I'd much prefer to get a new show that happens between Episodes 6 and 7. There is so much potential in such a show.

 

Yes I meant Rebels...unless it's a time jump of sorts where how we got to see Rex..

 

We'll never know, right now this is the last episode.

 

It was probably meant like this; Anakin Turns to the Dark Side, but is redeemed by Luke, now Luke was trained by Yoda, he was supposed to be trained by Yoda, so in a way he trained the one that will save the universe, which is Luke indirectly since Luke turns Anakin back to the Light Side

That is Indeed, as someone else mentioned, Yoda talking in the future. If you listen closely he says it the exact same way as how Yoda says it in Return Of The Jedi, when he becomes a force ghost
