SPECULATION The eventual recast of the big 3

    We all know that there will come a day when Disney/Lucasfilm decides to make films taking place in-between ANH and ESB, ESB and ROTJ, and ROTJ and TFA, starring the big 3.

    Han Solo was the first to be recast, and its only a matter of time before we get to see two younger actors portray Luke and Leia as well.

    Depending on the success of the solo Solo film and the reception to Alden's portrayal, we have to wait and see if Alden gets the chance to portray Han Solo again in any future films.

    When it comes to Luke and Leia however, who do you think should play them? Well, for Luke there's always Sebastian Stan being mentioned as a popular fan choice, but while I do see similarities between them I feel Stan doesn't quite fit Luke's personality. Besides, he looks more like a young Michael Biehn, and since he is older than Alden it would feel strange (they could replace Alden with an older actor though). For Leia, I have no ideas whatsoever, it's hard to find a woman who has both the looks and such dark voice as Carrie. My only suggestion could possibly be Alicia Vikander.

    When it comes to looks, i really think Sebastian Stan would fit for Luke Skywalker. I have no ideas for Leia either.

    I don't think they should ever recast the main three, from the ages we first met them at in "A New Hope". A teenaged Han is different, as would be for preteen versions of Luke and Leia - and that's where I think it should remain. If they wanted to do flashbacks to the days between "Jedi" and "Force Awakens", i can understand using stand-ins...but the computer-generated likenesses should still be Mark, Harrison, and Carrie. They'd obviously have to cast a sound-alike for Carrie now, unless they strung sentences together from other audio recordings...but I doubt Mark would have a problem voicing his younger self. As for Harrison, who knows; time will tell...
