    Massive, sweeping, triumphant march booms....

    ....camera sweeps across a massive hall, at least 3X larger than the end of ANH.....

    ....Rey, Finn, Poe, Chewie stride up the center aisle, between massive resistance/republic troops in formation....

    .....Luke (I hope) presents TWO medals to Chewie, then one to the rest......

    .....BB8 rolls into view with R2 and 3PO.....

    .....thoughts?

    IMO it's too nostalgic, we need something more original.
    I want EPIX to end like the OT was originally planned to end. Luke heading off into the suns of Tatooine. Or it ends with Rey and Ben on Tatooine, in the background a newly formed Jedi academy.

    I like the Rey and Ben on Tatooine idea.....but still would love for them to listen to us and get Chewie his medal(s).....

    It will end in tragedy with Leia being killed and buried on Naboo by her mom. There will be a funeral where the final act happens in the same halls as in TPM. Finn sacrifices himself for Poe and Rey after realizing that both the resistance and the first order were dually responsible for his life where he ended up but he fights for his only "friends." Ben decides to leave the force behind but agrees to work with Luke to repair his actions. Rey gives into the darkside and kills Snoke when he's the weakest and her last scene is her walking off into the sunset like a cowboy, not knowing where her fate will end up, but she is off to find her own destiny after failing Luke and Snoke. Ben inherits the MF and goes away from the galaxy in a self-imposed exile with Chewie. Luke, having had the last dark siders defeated, has the last scene(s) being him taking responsibility to honor his family and start a new-new republic that relies more on equals and the church of the force and retakes the main temple on coruscant to bring things full circle.

    I think all these films will be soft re-boots which is not entirely a bad thing just hoping for something new.

    Finn and KMT's character have a grand wedding, Poe becomes leader of the New Republic and Rey sets up a new jedi order (maybe helped by a redeemed Ben Solo). Chewie hangs up his Bandolier and spends time with his family.
