Sword fights, hiding in buildings, and car chases? This episode felt like a good ol' action movie!

    The Good:
"We'll blow up the ship after we get the baby out. What is wrong with you?" Chopper's a sociopath, and we love it
Zeb handling babies is as cute as it is funny and awkward.
Ezra talking to the baby was cute.
Kanan vs the Seventh Sister. Heck, Ezra
    Zeb carry Kanan.
Big Darn Heroes, thy name is Ahsoka (and that theme music!)!
    Ahsoka wins. Period.
    Clone Wars Shout-out!
    Stupid probe droid!

    The Bad:
    Too quick!
I'm not sure how I felt about Inquisitors overall with this episode. Last time they worked because:
    A) They were new.
    B) The setting was dark and almost like a horror film.

    The...Interesting:
    The baby doesn't like Ezra...hmmm...
You think that the crew would figure out why the Inquisitors would want babies sooner...or at least Ahsoka would contact them.

EDIT: I know they use the baby to explain that Ezra needs to control his emotions, but I'm pretty sure we've seen this before (or I was having a really bad case of deja vu). The Ezra we've seen grow is usually pretty calm under most circumstances - just check out his "I got this" attitude last episode. Thus, I put the baby crying under "interesting" because I'm not sure I fully believe the reasons they gave us.

I love how the episode started. It's mirrors the classic intro of ANH with a bit of horror added to the mix.

Also the action was freaking awesome!

I loved this one, lots of neat little details

    good:
    *the end fight
    * the baby ithorian, anyone notice his doll was the same one that the twi'lek kid had in the clone wars?
    * the speeder the inquisitors rode was from ANH as well.
    * "you are beaten" mirrors mace/palpy fight

    the weird:
    * the lady at the beginning was a grandma? She looked too young. She also looked like she belonged in frozen with the facial style they used.
    * why was the planet full of nothing but ithorians?

I'll have more thoughts in the morning, sleeping now.

    the good:
    Chopper being like Darth Vader
    Ashoka kicking ass
Ezra was about to face the Seventh Sister but she just blew him off like WTF
Zeb going par to par with the Fifth Brother
Kanan going par to par with the Seventh Sister
    THE BAD:
Sabine and Hera were not seen at all
The Seventh Sister just blowing off Ezra like a ragdoll

That was very funny, could not help but think of the evil droids introduced in the comics. "What is wrong with you?" indeed...

I did like that, it was great to show the power level difference between them..
And on a similar note, the power level difference between Kanan, struggling to keep them at bay, and Ahsoka.

This actually felt a bit weird to me.. Did she turn it off using the Force? If so why does she have to grab it? And wouldn't that be something that all/most Masters would be able to do? Would kind of defeat the point of the duels...
It feels a like a precedent that should not have been opened.. (it did look cool, though...)

The only other note, I'm not sure how I feel about calling the Inquisitors "the red blades" (twice in the episode, if I remember correctly)...

Ahsoka still kicks ass. The force is strong in the padawan. Always been.

I was ok with "red blades", what else would a layperson say?

I think Ashoka just force pushed the on/off switch. She needed to grab it to concentrate, as it might be hard to force push the on/off button while someone is swinging to kill you.

Ahsoka was amazing! My favorite episode of the season just for that fight alone.:)

What a thrill-ride that episode was. A compelling storyline, some thrilling chases, some excellent tension, and not 1, but 2 lightsaber battles. This was a treat.

There's not really a beat in this episode for me to be critical of, the whole thing worked superbly for me. It was more than a little gratifying to watch Ahsoka make absolute minced-meat out of both Inquisitors at the same time. Kanan was doing an admirable job of holding out as best he could (actually, there's a thought - towards the end, Ezra should have handed the baby to Zeb and joined the fray), but watching Ahsoka go full-badass was a heck of a treat. I enjoyed the interplay between the "recovery team" of Kanan, Ezra, Zeb and Chopper.

All in all, best episode of Season 2 apart from Siege of Lothal, from where I sit. And it looks like next week is shaping up to be excellent as well.

^I was a little surprised Zeb entrusted Chopper with the baby after the latter's suggestion to blow it up!

I can see this, but the show has set up a precedent for getting rid of 2 or 3 of the crew per episode to focus more on the remaining crew. Sabine and Hera prolly has super important games of Djarik to play.

If they made episodes take place at the same time, they could get around this problem. Instead of one episode with Hera/Sabine/Rex hanging out and doing nothing with Ezra/Kanan/Chopper having an adventure, with the roles reversed the next week, we could just say both adventures happened at the same time.

Ahh remembered something else.. did this episode debunk the Seventh Sister is Barriss Offee theory?
Or Ahsoka just didn't recognize her?
Or did she already know it was her?

Yeah I guess, but at least the first one, the grandmother(?), looked to me like she knew they were coming for her baby...

    Lol! This sounds SO good!

It's probably going to be weeks before I get to see this full episode. –I absolutely love reading about it though.

...This is clearly the Ahsoka Tano we've all been dying to see in action again.

I have to say that I agree with Corran Horn, this has to be my favorite Star Wars Rebels episode this season after siege of Lothal. Unfortunately, I missed the episode prior to this, which I hear was very good, but prior to watching this episode Rebels was beginning to lose my interest with what seemed like a lack of main plot development. This episode though really pushed the plot forward and I enjoyed it. It is hard though while I like the fact that the episodes are trying to focus on 2-3 characters and drive character development one area the show could improve on is explaining the absence of the other characters. Where were Hera, Sabrina or Rex during this episode, I'm not sure I could be convinced they wouldn't have been useful for this mission?

Yoda turned off Asajj lightsabers with the force in the first episode of Clone Wars. I think Ashoka did the same thing just up close or the 7th Sister wouldn't have been so surprised. The EU explained how force users built force bubbles to protect themselves from the force powers of others or of course instead of dueling you would just force choke or push your opponent till unconscious or dead. If you were sufficiently powerful you could break through the defenses of your opponent. My only problem is while this is a kids show Ashoka if not killing one of the Inquisitors should have broken an arm or something to put them out of the fight for good. Everybody can't just keep walking away from life and death fights.

    Ahh I didn't remember that...

Well, it was only their second appearance on the show, right? It would be kind of lame if they were already disposed of...
But I do believe that, at least, the 5th-bro will be toast by the end of the season...
