I’d like to see Admiral Thrawn return looking for help (Jedi) to save the Chiss from original Sith race from unknown regions That will also attackthe Republic eventually. This would require a large Jedi Army to counter.

 

I prefer to see something completely new.

New characters with new stories.

And maybe in 15 or 20 years some story about Rey's legacy.

 

I'm definitely down with having a breather. Nothing wrong with more stories in the OG saga, but it's nice to have breaks and see some new stories.

 

As I was expecting, this couldnt be "the end"... That would require everyone to die!

Since we have Rey Skywalker, General Poe Dameron and Finn's probable force sensitivity, along with Chewie and the droids, I cant see why in lets say 10 years from now we cant have Episodes X, XI and XII.

In the meantime, I'm all in for an Old Republic trilogy...

 

Did I miss something? Finn force sensitive?

 

He always talks about "feelings" and "the Force" and when Rey dies he immediately feels it. So yeah, I wouldnt be surprised if he is force sensitive...

 

It's implied several times in the movie.
He senses which Star Destroyer is carrying the signal, he feels Rey's death, and he talks with Jannah about how he believes the reason he left the First Order may have been the Force calling to him.
(There's something else he "senses" earlier on which has completely slipped my mind at the moment.)

I believe the "thing he was going to tell Rey" was probably going to be related to his growing Force sensitivity, but that's just a hunch...

 

It is implied, at several points throughout the film, that the thing Finn never gets around to telling Rey is that he believes himself to have the Force. This throws some light on Finn's obsessive relationship with Ray and such. He also has some superior instincts and insights in RoS that are probably symptoms of his Force Sensitivity.

I think you mean when he senses Kylo Ren in his speeder when he assaults Rey in Pasana, but I'm not exactly sure...

 

As much as I would love to see more of Rey, I think it's time to move on to another timeline.

 

Daisy Ridley won't be returning to Star Wars for the 2022 film so I think we'll get something completely different.

I'll be very happy about that as I think we need to see something completely new anyway.

 

After a substantial break which I think they already have planned I would love to see something in an entirely different time frame either direction from the OT time period. And please RJ stay as far away from Star Wars as possible it isn’t in your wheelhouse.

So is the next "Saga" movie 10 years away? Kind of like how TFA was 10 years after ROTS?

 

Well as of Oct 2019 the next scheduled SW movie is some time in 2022. So assuming it’s Christmas 2022 that’s only 3 years. It is all subject to change though as things seem to be in major flux with D&Bs entries getting axed and more than likely RJs series getting axed with maybe a single movie entry still possible from him but my money is on not. From what I understood the 2022 SW is something entirely new and headed up by Kevin Feige. I believe I read nothing will be official till January 2020.

Sorry I didn’t fully appreciate the “saga” qualifier. If you mean possibly continuing the line directly from the Rey, Finn and Poe era than I have no clue. Disney may not even be entertaining that kind of continuation for better or worse.

 

Maybe they put this saga to rest and there won't be another Saga Movie.
