Wouldn't it be sick to see an exploded Bail Organa reconstituting himself in space?

Yeah... but Lucas seems to say so many things, and they tend to change over time. I still say until it's in a film (or a book/comic explicitly stated as being 100% canon by Disney) we won't really know for sure.

He is one of my favorite characters, and I was fine with him escaping from the Sarlaac in the old EU. Can't remember how he did, but considering he probably had a good amount of explosive weapons at his disposal even after being "disarmed" by Luke, it's plausible... As far as the spin-off, I'd just prefer one before RotJ to really fill in the gaps and see a youngish Fett instead of an old one.

That sounds like a Star Wars horror spin-off. We'll throw it into the list of ideas along with the Lobot slasher flick.

If I remember correctly, the explosion from Jabba's barge killed the Sarlaac, and his armor provided enough protection to allow him to survive and eventually climb out. Not canon anymore, but that particular explanation could still be used if they bring him back.

Now that the new Marvel comics are canon, they have a tribute to Bail Organa. He WAS on Alderaan.

I hope Ventress is not working for the rebellion unless its for her own means.

This may be a bit of a tangent but is it me or does the early concept art of Ventress remind me of Brom.
