So I took this as it being something like 12.7, 12.8, where Han simply says 12, Chewie says "more like 13" and Han generously rounds down to 12. Not that the exact distance really matters, but that definitely seems like a Solo-type move!

Sort of off-topic but you made me think about Chewie's dialogue: I just recently watched Solo since it came to Disney+ and either I totally missed something or they cut the subtitles from Han and Chewie's first meeting in the mud pit when Han was trying to speak Shyriiwook.... anyone else notice this?

I agree, I don't think they could have made a Solo film and not include the one thing that Han is pround of the most. The Kessel run was very well thought out and I for one was happy with it.

Agreed. Something like that was referenced in ANH and we got to see it in Solo. Really cool connections made there

I saw it resently, but can't remember whether it had the subtitles or not. Perhaps you have to manually chose to display the right subtitles for it to show? *shrug*

Solo: A Star Wars Story is great! One of my all time favorite SWs :D

I have the 4K disc set and I did notice on the digital version there are no subtitles, you must have to enable them. I'll need to check the 4K and Bluray discs you get with it to see if Han's subtitles are on them, you can get by without them to be honest Off topic here but I wouldn't recommend buying the 4K disc, it's far too dark to watch and the BluRay is far better.

Solo is one of my favourites too, it's worth watching for the Kessel run alone!

I like Solo but I think the Kessel Run is one of the most underwhelming parts of the film, not bad but very "meh", honestly I think it could've been a better film without it. They tried to cram too many of Han's major backstory into one movie and I think it shows with the Kessel Run.

I can see your point. I just couldn’t imagine a film about solo’s younger self without the all famous kessel run.

I can see your point, by ANH the Kessel run was Han Solo's proudest moment and it was built up to be this pivotal moment in his life so making that live action was always going to be tricky and was never going to please everyone. Could it have been better?, probably with more screen time but having said that I thought it was well thought out enjoyable for the time allowed to fit it into one film.

I do agree with you that SOLO would have been fine without the Kessel run but only if a sequel had been planned to include it, I think having a one off film without it would have been a waste.

I'm all for that although with the success of the Mandalorian, I think I'd now prefer a SOLO tv series. There is 10 years of working for Jabba set between SOLO and ANH, that's too good to miss out on!

Yeah, I don't care if it's a movie (series!?!?) or TV show, or both. I just want more Alden Ehrenreich & Joonas Suotamo in my Star Wars! :D
TV shows typically means more hours of content, so I'm perfectly happy with that :)

Yeah the cast in Solo was great. Great film. Not to mention funny. I also liked how we saw a lot of what Han had referenced to about his past (kessel run). Plus, Han, im sure has a great history. He is Han Solo. Of course his history is exciting! Would be cool to get Solo 2 or some kinda show

I honestly wish that they made the Kessel run just a bit more mysterious, maybe weird noises or something? I always loved the mystery about the Kessel run, and how its very unexplored (i cant think of a better word then unexplored)

if they do solo 2 I hope they slow down and don't rush through making the movie. I feel like they could have slowed down and put more work into it.

I liked Solo honestly. Didn’t think it was rushed but im sure many think otherwise. And im all here for solo 2. I want to see what else Solo gets his snoot into. Also how he owed Jaba some money. That’d be cool to see
