I'm not saying that I believe the guy. But I think this post is taken out of context. He is still posting as though he has seen the movie. I think this was a badly-worded joke of some kind.

After having read his actual post I've came to a rather modest and I think intellectually sound decision that the Pawns leak is....



It reads worse than most bad fan fiction. Theres no mention of any revelations that change the way we look at star wars/force as a whole. The films initial reactions have been described as taking its time pace wise, full of depth, adds significant context and builds characterisation. This idiot has described it as a shallow chase movie.

He's pressing the big red button by saying Luke dies to get everyone's attention. I'm sorry but....

I don't know what to think. I don't want it to be true but.....ehh there something kind of....I don't know it's crazy bad but they did say the film was weird. The is weirdness.

We know Adam Driver was in Ireland so does this disprove what he says?

Biggest proof that The Pawn is fake? On his RPF profile he lists his Facebook and when you go to it, he's just some random automotive lawyer from Louisiana. Why the hell would he be invited to a Hollywood premier? Obvious troll.

 

Adam was not present for the full shoot in Ireland, he left for cannes and came back. Plus we don't know what was filmed it could be another force back dream thing again. Not saying the Pawn is right, in fact he reminds me of jar jar links lol.

 

I'm imagining a scenario where ANH has come and gone in theatres, and ESB is about to be released. Suddenly, online, some potential spoilers emerge.

-Luke almost gets killed by the abominable snowman, and gets put in a medicine tank in a diaper.
-The Empire uses robot camels.
-Luke trains in the ways of the force with a two foot tall babbling 800 year old frog alien man.
-Han flies the Falcon into a giant space worm.
-Billy Dee Williams is in it.
-Han Solo gets frozen in ice and shipped off to a giant slug crime lord with a dude who says two lines.


And suddenly everyone freaks out. Why? Because coming off of ANH, that all sounds bat**** insane.

But it wasn't.

This whole routine of "they didn't give me exactly what I want, so I'm gonna b**** about it," is getting REAL old. I know I'm going a little overboard to make my point, but dear god. Film history isn't made by delivering fan service. It's made when someone breaks the mold and delivers something timeless.

Watch. The. Movie. When. It. Comes. Out.

If this forum becomes akin to Facebook, and most folks I know, in that it's a hub of complaining, demands, and complete narrow-mindedness, I'll definitely bow out. I've always enjoyed the Cantina for its fair, open-minded discussions.

Ryan for the Forcecast, he says the Pawn is wrong and I agree with him because the Visual Dictionary debunks 4 big thinks he has posted.

There's a group of us on JCF's who's been asking around for people to confirm or deny what The Pawn has said, most of us there do not believe The Pawn based on the VD leaks and what people who have actually attended the premiere say

 

I understand that. But a few pages ago, you said you just spoke with someone who said the leaks going around were fake, and that you spoke with someone who saw the movie. So did you speak with someone who saw the movie who said these weren't true? I am just trying to understand here
