He looked like a puppet from the OT. I personally didn't like it, though. Compared to every other polished piece of CGI in the movie Yoda looked out of place to me. I'd rather have a fully CGI Yoda from prequels. Or even an upgraded version of it. I generally like the wise and serious Yoda of prequels more than the wacky Yoda of the OT. But that's just me. I'm sure the true hardcore fans of the OT appreciated the fan service.

So... I need to see this again.
I like the fact that the Skywalker line is kind of broken now.. or is it?
Yes, Snoke binded Rey and Kylo togheter.. But in the end, Snoke was dead, so how the h*ll could they see eachother?
Wouldn't Kylo lie to get Rey vunerable to the darkside?

But will have to wait 2 years..

    BUT....

In the end scene. Did the kid use the force to get the broom? Cause we were 3 people, not knowing eachother before, who saw the same thing and reacted to it!! In
our view, it looked like the broom found the way to the kid's hand. Anyone else saw this?

It's probably the screencaps, and they dont do it justice, but Yoda looks like horrible CGI

If Ben Solo is really the last Solo/Organa/with Skywalker blood then Last Jedi ended the Skywalker lineage for good.

I wonder how many of the moviegoers around the world will read it.....or just know about its existence I prefer the director knows the backstory of his characters then let it to invent others years later

Didn't feel like it in TLJ. Her part was too inferior to Luke and Ben's. She felt like a supporting character, really. Even Finn and Rose 'adventure' felt like it was a bigger part of the movie than the whole Rey involvement in the 'story'.

I think it was the dice?? That showed them eachother?? Or bond is just left after death, if Snoke never got rid of it.

The moment with the kid was so brief I missed it in the cinema. I wasn't alone, people were giving eachother WTF looks around me when he randomly lifted it in the air.

What was the point with the last scene? It felt very flat.

It didn't fit at all. (Actually I disliked the entire Canto Bight segment of the film, but that's another post.) we saw the kid for like 20 seconds earlier in a barely memorable part of the movie, and he's meant to be somehow be important force using person we're meant to root for??

"We are the spark that will light the fire that'll burn the First Order down."

    The spark's been lit.

Though I also noticed the similarities between that boy and young Anakin. Both slaves, both looking at the stars, hoping to someday visit other planets.

    Then it isn't just me..
That scene.. it makes no sense, and I love it.
If the kid is an unknown force-user that gets inspired the rebellion, it will be awesome!:D

If he didn't ridiculously lift up the broom like that, I'd agree.

I get broom=lightsaber analogy...but why can't we just have a nice, simple, hopeful look up at the stars?

    Brooms ruin everything.

Amazing. You missed the point of the entire film.

I take offence at that. I get that aside from "kill the past" the film was about a new future and second comings-"spark and first order" etc.

I get that kid=new hope/spark of Jedi, and broom=sabre. The confusion and execution of it just annoyed me.

You said “he’s supposed to be an important force using person”.

He wasn’t. He just represented the galaxy in general and the rebirth of the Jedi order/rebellion.

I thought it was a masterful and brave ending and summed up what everyone had been fighting for.

I agree about the message. But child actors tend to annoy me in most films, this one included.

Each to their own I suppose

Fair enough. I must’ve misinterpreted what you were saying.
