    Because it's a fan-made poster, it seems. Rey has her old hairstyle, there's an old mould for Chewbacca's head (the current one is much more detailed,) Rose doesn't have her hairstyle (which we know exists in Lego form, as Rose's minifigure is part of TLJ line,) there are B-wing isnstead of Ski Speeders, etc.

    OK, I've kind of come to peace with the familiar elements and I dig the overall design, but there are two things that still bug me. One of them is the red/blue lighting on Luke's face - it's soooo over-the-top, especially the red. Looks overly processed and unnatural. The other thing is that red grunge texture (I don't know how to call it). It looks OK in the lower part, but I think it should start fading out at the height of Rey's shoulder, so that around Luke there was only some red sky crossfading into black, starry space (like the teaser poster). Sorry for getting so technical.

    BUT if that's not technical enough for you, check out the visualisation of what I have in mind... :p

    i think my favorite part of the official poster is Leia with the command shuttle and Finn/Poe flanking her.
    the rest just feels sort of smushed together predictably. i do like that they included Hux, though. and the droids/Phasma.
    and i love the Crait battle scene at the very bottom.

    i feel like Rey, Ren, and Luke all looked so much more interesting in the teaser poster.
    i wonder what a mashup of the two might look like?
