More thoughts:

It looks like we will be getting another flashback of the temple being destroyed. The editing made it seem like Phasma was a part of the destruction but maybe that is from 2 different scenes.

The airspeeder things seem like maybe they are made for mining... I can't figure out what the poles hanging down are for....but when they scrape along the landscape they kick up what must be the red "gems" we are told they are mining on the planet.

I would definitely say those capital ships must be Republic ships because they are all the same and that fits with a gov't fleet more than a rag tag Resistance fleet IMO.

I wonder if the opening shot with Rey doesnt take place very quickly after she meets Luke... like she introduces herself and he immediately force throws her off the cliff lol. Probably not though. Most likely just part of her trials.

Poe's black Xwing gets destroyed. Looks like he'll need a new one.

EDIT:
Finn almost looks like he is in some kind of medical escape pod...the lighting around it seems similar to the hyperspace effect...I wonder if someone doesn't jettison him from a ship that is going down. I don't know---just some wild speculation.

 

I loved how Rey's theme was used in it. I'm looking forward to the mystical side of things. The movie looks beautiful, too, judging from these shots.

 

I think the whole jedi end line is a setup for Rey more or less redeeming Luke and restoring his desire to be active and involved in the goings on of the GFFA.

 

I absolutely loved it.

 

When we see Kylo's mask, is that the voice of Palpatine????

Awesome! Any guesses on what we were looking at when Rey said she saw balance?

 

Was that Kylo's mask or Vader's burnt mask? I couldn't tell.

 

Also (so much speculation to engage in).

We see Rey lose her breath, could it be that she was made to confront her fears as past Jedi had?
We see the smashed Darth Vader helmet... did Kylo Ren become angry that his grandfather hadn't helped him and smashed it?
We see Kylo without the mask and pointing his LS sadistically... so hopefully it's not too much to assume that we get a Round 2 between Rey and Kylo?
We see rocks and stones being lifted by up Rey's force usage, is she wielding a power similar to Vaylin (in Knights of the Eternal Throne trailer)?
We see a Phasma appearance, looks like she'll get some action this time, but no glimpse of the Knights of Ren, who will play a larger role this round?
We see a quick Finn appearance, looks like he's in a medical pod, not sure why they chose that as the glimpse to see
We see what looks like might be a land based battle and battle in space (so I guess the Resistance has found some ships)?
We hear all sorts of subtle Star Wars sounds and verbiage

So many questions... I thought this trailer was going to be much shorter

 

Think I heard "Help me obi Wan" when they showed Leia from the back! Anyone confirm?

 

After second viewing, Phasma and co. are walking throughout debris in a hangar. (you can see the chrome in the upper left of the screen grab.) First time I watched, they showed that shot right after what appeared to be Luke's temple burning, but it is a different fire. I would guess Phasma is walking through the resistance hangar that Poe was just running through. Also, SPOILERS.....



Looks like Admiral Holdo brings more than a FEW ships.

 

Kylo's mask and Sidious' voice from the opera scene (Rots) after "help me obi wan Kenobi" is what I'm hearing.
