I noticed in the 2nd fire scene there were only stormtroopers no Knights of Ren or Kylo

 

Am I the only one to see Yoda at 1 08 ?

I'm expecting a slap from this lady when Luke shows up.

 

I think we will discuss this till episode IX.

My personal take is that's what they want us to think (and some of us fear).
In fact thay put it in the trailer. They drop the bomb in a trailer that shows very little.

I'm not sure (no one can be, at this stage) but if I have to choose, I'll say... I don't buy it.

He (Luke) and us will really understand what the Journal quote's really means in the last 5 minutes of episode IX.

Especially if this (see picture) is a glimpse of the Journal of the Whills itself.

Things get really interesting.

 

I really like this dynamic. it doesn't seem like Snoke is an official Sith, so the idea that both of these ancient groups are evolving, or I guess just ceasing to exist all together. I would think that Luke probably knows what hes doing though, hes not a farmboy anymore!

What does everybody think about the possibilities of force ghosts in TLJ?

Also that poster might be one of my favorites of all time.

 

Stormtroopers and Phasma

 

My feelings exactly! I think we are about to see grey force users, whether we like it or not. The other thing that impresses me is that it looks like they are taking old discarded concepts (Journal of the Whills, etc) and bring them into these new movies. It has started with Rebels and the comics but it will become more in the movies. I also feel they are going to finally end the chapter on "The Chosen One" which is kind of cool that they aren't truly disregarding the Prequels.

 

Good catch there. My guess would be one of those birds.

 

Those poles on the bottom looked odd. First thing I thought was that those didn't look like the new B-wings, but I figured there has to be more vehicles in that battle. I also could make out those 'gorilla walkers' off in the distance.

 

Also, First shot of Rey gasping feels like it comes right after another force vision.

 

Is it me or is this a bit Bendu looking?

 

And Kylo's theme!

 

It would be very interesting to see Luke and Yoda clash a bit on this "no more Jedi" concept.

 

I almost predicted that scene in my theory except for the sign shown but it would have been too obvious for a trailer.

 

Can anyone make out what that is? I can't.

I think it's more like the "cave test" for Rey.

I can't tell whose helmet is this - Vader's or Kylo's, but from the context it's more likely to be Vader's. Maybe Kylo became veeery frustrated.

Maybe it's Kylo vs Luke this time?

But it seems we'll have a lot of familiar "inspiration" from TESB. Walkers on sno..., I meant white sand, attacked by speeder-like ships (they even fly like speeders - very low), Rey training on secluded planet like Luke trained on secluded planet once (she even lifts rocks and maybe there'll be a "cave test"), one of the main heroes in medical pod (Luke's bacta) etc...

And I don't think these two scenes with fire are related to each other - in the first we probably see the burning Jedi temple in the flashback - but the scene with Phasma looks like another thing - taking place in some sort of a base or a ship.
